Defrost from freezer for 3 5 minutes to make it easier to remove the lid and product. I was making dinner for my little fur baby and needed a way to freeze and store her dinner. These are perfect because they are very well made even though they are a little pricey but I think they are worth it. My little girl gets 1/3 cup servings twice a day so I can easily thaw the 1 cup blocks and divide them into 1/3 cup portions. I make a batch of her dinner, freeze them in these trays then take the bricks out and put them in plastic freezer bags until I need them. Easy peasy. I will be ordering more of these in the 1/2 cup size. Maybe they will make a 1/3 cup size too which would be perfect for me.

Versatile These are perfect for anything that can be frozen. Once frozen, I can take the portions out and put them in individual bags. Besides food, I also use these to make ice cubes. I have pureed fruits and vegetables and frozen individual portions to add to smoothies and drinks. So versatile and everything stacks well since they are all the same size.

ROTTAY One Cup Very useful but labeling issue The ROTTAY are great overall. My only complaint is that I lose track of the contents, especially when I freeze multiple foods in one bowl, hence the 4 star rating. I don't know how to label the contents? Otherwise, they are easy to use, easy to clean, and seem durable. It's a very creative solution for freezing leftover soup and beans. I let the food cool before putting it in the bowls, hopefully this will maintain the integrity of the silicone for many years of use. The frozen contents are easy to remove from their compartments. Overall, I am happy with the ROTTAY.

From freezer to microwave quick meals! I cook big pots of soup and casseroles that have leftovers and these are the perfect freezer portion. Works really well, easy to clean, and you can take a portion out to reheat in the microwave when needed. I LOVE THEM!

love the durability and design. I can't say enough good things about this product. I bought the 1 cup trays to replace some hard plastic trays I had. I was skeptical about the price but gave them a try. They are easy to fill, the measuring lines work great and are visible on the food once frozen. The molds are easy to clean whether you hand wash them or put them in the dishwasher. No odors transfer and they come out easily. The silicone holds strong, much better than I expected. And I love that they have lids and you can stack them in the freezer. I like them so much I bought the 2 cup molds too.

The best. These are really great. They are sturdy, the lids fit securely and don't drip between the stove and freezer, and I just put them in the top rack of the dishwasher to clean. I started with the 2 cup size and have since moved up to the 1 cup size. Highly recommended.

LOVE THEM! WISH THEY WERE NOT SO EXPENSIVE I love them! Have shared them with friends and we keep thinking up more and more things to freeze in them. Spaghetti sauce, of course soups, stews, even large batches of cooked beans. I wait until summer to freeze extra large cubes of, say, lemonade and put them in a pitcher of lemonade! To keep the drink cool but not dilute it. Being able to store "blocks" of frozen soup, stew, chili, etc. is so much more space efficient. Then put a block or two or three in to reheat and you have a meal! One star off for the price.

Fantastic way to freeze soup while taking up less space in the freezer! This product exceeded my expectations! I poured fresh homemade soup into it, filled two bowls, froze them, and was able to easily remove them. The bowls cleaned up beautifully. Perfect, just order and move on. I can't believe I'm writing a review about ice cube trays but I have to give this product a 5. The lid is a tight seal that snaps on like Tupperware, the ice cubes are the perfect size and easy to remove, and the trays take up little space and stack easily. Simple technology but works exactly as it says. We've had other trays with sliding lids that still leaked water and froze the bottom of the freezer but these stack in the corner with no problem. We have to give credit to our friends for getting these ice cube trays perfect.

When I tried to freeze it before, taking it out of the containers would have required thawing time. This solution solved the problem. I loved it and bought them as "just because" gifts for some friends who had the same problem with soup storage.

I froze fresh beans and vegetable soup. The cubes are pretty bulky in the freezer, but after each one was frozen, I was able to easily remove them from the cubes and pack them into a 1 gallon ziplock freezer bag. The bag could have held 6 cubes, but I had only made 4 of each kind. Now that I see how easy it is, I'm going to order the 2 cup size. I hand washed the ROTTAY.

Pretty cool. These are pretty cool. I freeze 3/4 cup blocks of a special pasta sauce. I was surprised that you can actually stack them in the freezer and not squash them while the sauce is still liquid. And the blocks pop right out after freezing. One thing, and this is probably true for all silicone kitchenware: the pasta sauce leaves stains, and the only way to remove them is to fill the bowls with hot water and bleach and leave them overnight. No big deal.

Great for meal prepping ahead of time! I've used these several times. I even ordered another set for when I'm making multiple batches of soup, broth, etc. Just remember that you need enough space in the freezer with a level shelf to complete the freezing process. I would maybe recommend ordering the 2 cup serving size if you're making broth for more than 1 or 2 people or a larger family. The 1 cup servings are perfect for bringing lunches or if you're single.

These are the BEST! I grew up with the early cans where the arm was pulled in plastic to rotate. I was never a huge fan of ice cubes and when the previous plastic cans leaked in my large freezer and not considering the unsanitary lack of covers, I never thought these would be amazing and so affordable and efficient!

Really great for those of us who don't use ice often. I've had mine for 6 months and haven't had the issues other people have had. Instead, my usual problem as someone who uses very little ice and never drinks soda or water with ice is that I go to the freezer and find that my ice cubes have sublimated because the surface is exposed. That never happens with these. The cover prevents any evaporation. The cubes come out individually and easily one at a time so I can easily take out exactly as many as I need, which may only be one or two a week.

Will be buying more as gifts. Love these! Will be buying these as gifts. Very sturdy and easy to use. A little pricey but you save money on groceries as you can easily freeze leftovers for later.

Easy to remove the ice cubes, nice size, fragile lids. I bought these because my ice maker wasn't working properly. They are just the right size and fit in the ice cube tray in the freezer. The lid allows the trays to be stacked. So far so good, I hand wash them, no problem with the lids or trays. For me it's exactly what I needed. I like the silicone bottom, ice cubes fall out with just a little twist. Overall good product, 4 out of 5 stars because the lids are not so good, I already chipped one. I don't think the lids will last as long as the trays.

Well done. I put them in the dishwasher and all the stains came right out. The cubes are easy to remove. I love it. Took the chili cube out and had it for dinner tonight. This gives me more space in the freezer than with mason jars. I just bought a set in the 2 cup size. They are nice and sturdy.

Great for freezing and reducing food waste! Where have these been all my life? I love the measurements on the inside of each compartment. Sturdy enough to keep in the freezer on uneven surfaces. Lid fits snugly and is not difficult to put on. Great for storing sauces, liquid whey, etc. The only thing stopping me from buying them in all sizes is the price. Great gift!

One summer I tried freezing the pesto in a thin layer and "breaking off" pieces for recipes or going through the hassle of freezing in ice cube trays which were a pain to take out and clean. Or sometimes I just make one serving per ziplock freezer bag. But last summer after a nearly 5 star review I decided to buy this product and I'm so glad I did! I bought both the 1/2 cup and 1 cup portions. I use them to make broth, pesto, and soups and freeze in portions. I also love that it helped me reduce my family's single use plastic use. I used to make one serving of soup per quart freezer bag. Now with a 1 quart bag, I can put the 4 1 cup servings as well as the 6 half cup servings into a 1 quart freezer bag, so 7 cups that I can take out and thaw in portions. My freezer is also much more organized. I even took them to my aunt's house after she was unexpectedly hospitalized. I brought soup in cubes and threw them in the freezer when I got there. After doing some things at her house, I took them out and put them in freezer bags so she could take out portions of food as needed during her recovery. She liked the product so much that she asked me for the product name and gave them to other nieces for Christmas. Now when one of us has a day where she's cooking large batches, we use the others to freeze more things at once. I will definitely buy the two cup serving size to freeze soup, casseroles, and browned beef. The product has been washed and frozen several times and still works well.

Best invention. These are perfect for freezing soup stew etc. Once frozen you can easily take out a portion. Then I put them in a food storage bag. Lots of variety for lunch.

I love these trays! Just follow the directions, don't twist the tray, leave it on the counter for about a minute and the cubes will pop right out. Much cheaper in the long run than the hard plastic trays from the dollar store that crack and fall apart after a few months.

Ice Mold Ice mold for cups. Comes in three different sizes to fit perfectly in the cup. The mold is made of silicone and the container to store the mold is made of plastic. The only downside is that my container doesn't close properly. The lid is a little wobbly. I thought maybe I had filled it too full because the ice spread out in the container and it didn't close properly, but no. Even when it's empty, the lid doesn't close properly.

Solid product, good value for money. No problems so far even though I've had it for a month. You can easily remove the ice by pressing the rubber part from the bottom. I thought they would include the ice box too but it's ok.

Great way to freeze soup and broth! I LOVE these and rave about them to anyone who will listen! Not super easy to clean but since they are dishwasher safe I put them on the top rack so it's not really a problem. If you just let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes they come out really easily. These are great if you regularly freeze soups or broth. I freeze my soup/broth in these and then take them out when they are hard to pack in a freezer bag. Great portion control for soup, even a cup amount was the perfect amount. Highly recommend.

Love this item!!! I am impressed with this product! In the winter I cook large batches of pinto beans for the crockpot and usually freeze the leftovers in glass jars. This time I filled the bean cubes with the beans and froze them. I took the bean blocks out, vacuum sealed them in two cup portions and put them back in the freezer. Stacks easily and takes up less space in my freezer. I found that running hot water over the bottom of the container for a few seconds makes it easier to take them out. I even bought more to give as Christmas gifts.

Perfect portions. I like the design and functionality of this product. My only complaint is that it holds on to odors. I've cooked a batch of beef soup and then hand washed it, washed it in the dishwasher, and even soaked it in baking soda and it still smells like the soup. I froze some chopped peppers in it and took them out and they don't seem to taste or smell like the soup, so that's good.

Worth the price. These ROTTAY are so convenient, I literally took them out of the box when they arrived, washed them and used them! It's a little work to squeeze out the frozen cube but it's not a big deal at all. If you need them, buy them. I know they're expensive but it's worth it.

No more throwing away leftover ingredients! I love this silicone mold! Washed it down right away so I could use it…it had a funny smell to begin with…the dishwasher got rid of that perfectly. I froze my leftover cream in 2 cups and a half cup with a mark in each section for a full and/or half cup. The next morning I bagged and labeled the frozen blocks and am so glad that I won't waste that last cup of cream and whatever, right back in the dishwasher from now on. The blocks came out very easily because, you know, silicone! I'm looking at different sizes for things like tomato paste…another thing that seems to go to waste when I only ever use a tablespoon or two from the small cans. Great product, will definitely order more!

Great ice for my iced coffee! I use it for my iced coffee. It doesn't melt as quickly so my coffee doesn't get watery as quickly. I also used the ice cubes in my air cooler during the summer. It takes a little long to freeze completely but it's definitely worth it.

It's really good for toddler meals! I like it a lot. Especially because it has a tight fitting lid. I prepare toddler meals in it and freeze it. Then I take the portions out and store them in a separate container/freezer bag in the freezer.

The price is the hardest part. If the price wasn't so RIDICULOUS I would give them 5 stars. They are easy to clean, sturdy and you can even take soup straight out of the pressure cooker without any problem. The blocks are easy to remove and the lids stay in place.

Use them to freeze things like chili, soup, tomato sauce and spaghetti. Once frozen, I can easily pop out individual blocks of a known amount, put them in freezer bags and store them while reusing the bowls to save extra money. The frozen food comes out of the bowls with minimal effort and they are easy to clean.

These bowls are amazing and so useful. They are expensive but they are also really good for dividing up portions to freeze and use later. I have to empty them into a freezer bag after freezing the contents so I can use them again. Too expensive for long term freezer storage. I still love them for what they do.

Saves food, time and money! This is a really easy way to freeze small portions of soups and sauces. I also used it for a pot of black beans I had cooked and was able to save the leftovers. love them. I use them for all sorts of things. The only problem is that they retain odors. I've read some other reviews that say they don't, but mine definitely do. I don't own a dishwasher though, so that could be a factor. I would buy them again in a heartbeat though. I love freezing things, but I also use them for baking and making things like jello.

I love it! Makes perfect 1 cup portions that freeze into rectangular portions that you can put in a freezer bag. So far I've made and frozen chicken tortilla soup, cream of chicken soup, and tomato soup.

Easy to use, worth every penny. What I love about ROTTAY is how easy it is to use. They feature a 1 cup line that makes portion control easy, and they are pliable even when frozen so that a little warm water or your hand can warm them enough to scoop out your food. I have frozen homemade beef bone broth and gazpacho pictured in my ROTTAY. Plus, they are top rack washable in my dishwasher with Bosch's "Quick Wash." This is the best money I have ever spent on storage containers.

Best for freezing for portion control! Great invention! I love soup but the rest of my family doesn't so I always have so much leftover when I make it. I found this container and was super excited to try it out. I have been freezing my soup in portion containers and they take up so much space. Have used it for two different soups and chili already and have only had it for about 2 weeks. The only downside is my daughter tried to peek inside and the containers bulged out a little on the inside. But it freezes great and the soup/chili was easy to slide out to put in a large Ziploc freezer bag. I will probably buy other sizes too.

That they don't take up too much space in the freezer. I will buy more of these in different sizes for stock and leftover casseroles. Reheat well in the microwave and oven if thawed overnight. Easy to remove for thawing and individual use. Overall, I would buy more of these.

High quality tray, solves the problem of "sagging" silicone trays. High quality silicone trays. The metal reinforced rim makes this tray sturdy and very easy to fill and place in the freezer without spilling the contents all over the freezer. The cover also prevents the contents from spilling and absorbing odors. If you push the frozen food out from the "bottom" of the tray, it is easy to remove from the compartment. You do not want to "twist" this tray to get the contents out. This is a very well made tray. It is a little expensive, but the quality of construction, design and material is worth the extra cost.

Great design Where have these been all my life?!?! So convenient and can be used for more than just soup. My husband and I made marinara sauce for the freezer this summer and used these cubes to freeze the perfect portion sizes. wish I had known about this sooner! I stumbled upon it by chance while researching ice cube trays and decided to give it a try. I LOVE IT! Used it to store leftover soup. It's so nice not having to stuff my pantry containers full of leftovers. There was no good way to label the containers with items and dates and the wide variety of sizes made it difficult to store them in the freezer. With the ROTTAY, I can put them in a Ziploc bag that I can label. Plus, the 1 cup serving size is super convenient. I don't have to heat the whole container, I can just take out as many servings as I need.
