Defrost from freezer for 3 5 minutes to make it easier to remove the lid and product. I was making dinner for my little fur baby and needed a way to freeze and store her dinner. These are perfect because they are very well made even though they are a little pricey but I think they are worth it. My little girl gets 1/3 cup servings twice a day so I can easily thaw the 1 cup blocks and divide them into 1/3 cup portions. I make a batch of her dinner, freeze them in these trays then take the bricks out and put them in plastic freezer bags until I need them. Easy peasy. I will be ordering more of these in the 1/2 cup size. Maybe they will make a 1/3 cup size too which would be perfect for me.

Versatile These are perfect for anything that can be frozen. Once frozen, I can take the portions out and put them in individual bags. Besides food, I also use these to make ice cubes. I have pureed fruits and vegetables and frozen individual portions to add to smoothies and drinks. So versatile and everything stacks well since they are all the same size.

ROTTAY One Cup Very useful but labeling issue The ROTTAY are great overall. My only complaint is that I lose track of the contents, especially when I freeze multiple foods in one bowl, hence the 4 star rating. I don't know how to label the contents? Otherwise, they are easy to use, easy to clean, and seem durable. It's a very creative solution for freezing leftover soup and beans. I let the food cool before putting it in the bowls, hopefully this will maintain the integrity of the silicone for many years of use. The frozen contents are easy to remove from their compartments. Overall, I am happy with the ROTTAY.

Beautiful cubes. I love these ROTTAY. They are so easy to use: just pour your soup in, put the lid on and put it in the freezer. Each cube is super easy to take out when you want to use it.

From freezer to microwave quick meals! I cook big pots of soup and casseroles that have leftovers and these are the perfect freezer portion. Works really well, easy to clean, and you can take a portion out to reheat in the microwave when needed. I LOVE THEM!

Good and inexpensive. It's an ice cube tray and it works. It comes with a plastic lid but that doesn't seal the water in the tray.

love the durability and design. I can't say enough good things about this product. I bought the 1 cup trays to replace some hard plastic trays I had. I was skeptical about the price but gave them a try. They are easy to fill, the measuring lines work great and are visible on the food once frozen. The molds are easy to clean whether you hand wash them or put them in the dishwasher. No odors transfer and they come out easily. The silicone holds strong, much better than I expected. And I love that they have lids and you can stack them in the freezer. I like them so much I bought the 2 cup molds too.

The best. These are really great. They are sturdy, the lids fit securely and don't drip between the stove and freezer, and I just put them in the top rack of the dishwasher to clean. I started with the 2 cup size and have since moved up to the 1 cup size. Highly recommended.

If I don't need it all, I can now take out as many cubes as I need. No defrosting the whole bag. Usually that's a mess to defrost. LOVE THEM! WISH THEY WERE NOT SO EXPENSIVE I love them! Have shared them with friends and we keep thinking up more and more things to freeze in them. Spaghetti sauce, of course soups, stews, even large batches of cooked beans. I wait until summer to freeze extra large cubes of, say, lemonade and put them in a pitcher of lemonade! To keep the drink cool but not dilute it. Being able to store "blocks" of frozen soup, stew, chili, etc. is so much more space efficient. Then put a block or two or three in to reheat and you have a meal! One star off for the price.

Fantastic way to freeze soup while taking up less space in the freezer! This product exceeded my expectations! I poured fresh homemade soup into it, filled two bowls, froze them, and was able to easily remove them. The bowls cleaned up beautifully. Just used it yesterday, it's one of the best things I've bought in a long time. It's easy to clean, sturdy enough to use over and over again, it has markings from 1/2 cup to 1 cup so you don't have to measure when filling. Basically I love this little device. Perfect, just order and move on. I can't believe I'm writing a review about ice cube trays but I have to give this product a 5. The lid is a tight seal that snaps on like Tupperware, the ice cubes are the perfect size and easy to remove, and the trays take up little space and stack easily. Simple technology but works exactly as it says. We've had other trays with sliding lids that still leaked water and froze the bottom of the freezer but these stack in the corner with no problem. We have to give credit to our friends for getting these ice cube trays perfect.

When I tried to freeze it before, taking it out of the containers would have required thawing time. This solution solved the problem. I loved it and bought them as "just because" gifts for some friends who had the same problem with soup storage.

Makes it easy to store and take out portions. Efficient use of freezer space. I can pack food in portion sizes that fit compactly in my freezer and are easy to access when I need them. I froze fresh beans and vegetable soup. The cubes are pretty bulky in the freezer, but after each one was frozen, I was able to easily remove them from the cubes and pack them into a 1 gallon ziplock freezer bag. The bag could have held 6 cubes, but I had only made 4 of each kind. Now that I see how easy it is, I'm going to order the 2 cup size. I hand washed the ROTTAY.

Pretty cool. These are pretty cool. I freeze 3/4 cup blocks of a special pasta sauce. I was surprised that you can actually stack them in the freezer and not squash them while the sauce is still liquid. And the blocks pop right out after freezing. One thing, and this is probably true for all silicone kitchenware: the pasta sauce leaves stains, and the only way to remove them is to fill the bowls with hot water and bleach and leave them overnight. No big deal.

I even ordered another set for when I'm making multiple batches of soup, broth, etc. Just remember that you need enough space in the freezer with a level shelf to complete the freezing process. I would maybe recommend ordering the 2 cup serving size if you're making broth for more than 1 or 2 people or a larger family. The 1 cup servings are perfect for bringing lunches or if you're single.

These are the BEST! I grew up with the early cans where the arm was pulled in plastic to rotate. I was never a huge fan of ice cubes and when the previous plastic cans leaked in my large freezer and not considering the unsanitary lack of covers, I never thought these would be amazing and so affordable and efficient!

Really great for those of us who don't use ice often. I've had mine for 6 months and haven't had the issues other people have had. Instead, my usual problem as someone who uses very little ice and never drinks soda or water with ice is that I go to the freezer and find that my ice cubes have sublimated because the surface is exposed. That never happens with these. The cover prevents any evaporation. The cubes come out individually and easily one at a time so I can easily take out exactly as many as I need, which may only be one or two a week.

Will be buying more as gifts. Love these! Will be buying these as gifts. Very sturdy and easy to use. A little pricey but you save money on groceries as you can easily freeze leftovers for later.

Easy to remove ice cubes. These trays are easy to use and you can remove individual ice cubes. It is best to follow the instructions and wait a few seconds while you heat the bottom of the ice cubes you want to remove. The cubes are a little smaller, but the trays are good.

Easy to remove the ice cubes, nice size, fragile lids. I bought these because my ice maker wasn't working properly. They are just the right size and fit in the ice cube tray in the freezer. The lid allows the trays to be stacked. So far so good, I hand wash them, no problem with the lids or trays. For me it's exactly what I needed. I like the silicone bottom, ice cubes fall out with just a little twist. Overall good product, 4 out of 5 stars because the lids are not so good, I already chipped one. I don't think the lids will last as long as the trays.

Well done. I put them in the dishwasher and all the stains came right out. The cubes are easy to remove. I love it. Took the chili cube out and had it for dinner tonight. This gives me more space in the freezer than with mason jars. I just bought a set in the 2 cup size. They are nice and sturdy.

Great for freezing and reducing food waste! Where have these been all my life? I love the measurements on the inside of each compartment. Sturdy enough to keep in the freezer on uneven surfaces. Lid fits snugly and is not difficult to put on. Great for storing sauces, liquid whey, etc. The only thing stopping me from buying them in all sizes is the price. Great gift!

perfect portion sizes, organized freezer, and less single use plastic. I love growing basil and making homemade pesto. We have food allergies so homemade pesto is preferable. One summer I tried freezing the pesto in a thin layer and "breaking off" pieces for recipes or going through the hassle of freezing in ice cube trays which were a pain to take out and clean. Or sometimes I just make one serving per ziplock freezer bag. But last summer after a nearly 5 star review I decided to buy this product and I'm so glad I did! I bought both the 1/2 cup and 1 cup portions. I use them to make broth, pesto, and soups and freeze in portions. I also love that it helped me reduce my family's single use plastic use. I used to make one serving of soup per quart freezer bag. Now with a 1 quart bag, I can put the 4 1 cup servings as well as the 6 half cup servings into a 1 quart freezer bag, so 7 cups that I can take out and thaw in portions. My freezer is also much more organized. I even took them to my aunt's house after she was unexpectedly hospitalized. I brought soup in cubes and threw them in the freezer when I got there. After doing some things at her house, I took them out and put them in freezer bags so she could take out portions of food as needed during her recovery. She liked the product so much that she asked me for the product name and gave them to other nieces for Christmas. Now when one of us has a day where she's cooking large batches, we use the others to freeze more things at once. I will definitely buy the two cup serving size to freeze soup, casseroles, and browned beef. The product has been washed and frozen several times and still works well.
