Quick Meals It's great to make portions in advance. I live alone and the last thing I want is to prep food for lunch and dinner. I bought two and have 8 portions left over.

Use for soups, broths, and salsas! My husband and I are obsessed with this avocado salsa that I make. We are both very disappointed when it runs out so we try to always have some in the fridge. But sometimes when it runs out we can't make any more because the avocados at the store aren't ripe at all…but now we've learned that the salsa freezes really well so we can make triple batches of our avocado salsa and freeze the extra batches so we always have some on hand and never run out. Also, I make homemade chicken broth and this will come in really handy because I always just refrigerated all the broth and never used it all up fast enough before it went bad so now I can freeze it and it won't go to waste. Yay! And it's SO easy to pop the frozen cubes out of the mold. I also love that the top of the mold is hardwired or something so the mold doesn't collapse in on itself. It is very robust and can be easily transported and stored in the freezer.

Love, love, love! I would waste so much food. I've tried them and love them. The food tastes just as good freshly cooked or as leftovers. I bought the 2 pack and am thinking of buying more. A little pricey but worth it.

Easily push out a single ice cube with one finger. Say goodbye to old hard plastic ice cube trays and flexible ice trays that require you to twist the entire tray to release a single cube. This clever ice cube set has a flexible base underneath each individual cube, so a single finger press on the green bottom surface is enough to effortlessly push that one cube out without damaging the rest of the ice surfaces and/or cubes in the tray. Each ice cube tray comes with its own clear cover so all 4 trays can be stacked on top of each other. And when you need to refill ice, the rectangular, clear ice cube storage box holds cubes from all 4 trays and can be refilled, making a total of 8 trays with 112 cubes with all the pieces/holders in this set. You can scoop ice directly from the storage box with the ice cream scoop included in the set, or remove individual ice cubes with the small, metallic serving tongs also included in the ice cube set. Two of the trays had the corner broken off (see picture). Where the plastic extends over the edge, the tab on the corner of the tray has broken off. It is wider and longer to make it easier to pry out and separate the ice tray from the cover. Therefore, I gave it 4 out of 5 points.

Great for meal prep! I live alone so I can freeze individual portions of this great. Most recipes I make are way too much for one person. This freezes easily and takes out for a single meal to take to work etc. I no longer waste food nor do I have to freeze multiple meals in one container.

Saves Freezer Space My freezer used to be full of containers of leftover food. These help me save space by freezing the food in smaller quantities and putting it in a ziplock bag. I can fit more in by filling the gaps where regular containers don't fit.

Missing tongs. Pretty upset after realizing the tongs were missing and the scoop never came with my order. I would send it back but I've already used it. Not sure how that's supposed to happen. :/

Only use the container for ice cream you have already made. Pour water about 3/4 of the way into the tray with no holes and then put the lid with holes on top. Place it in the fridge like a regular ice cream tray, not in the container. Once your ice cream is ready, put the ice cream balls in the container. I put all the trays in the container and poured water in them but it didn't work. You never stop learning. Overall it's worth the money and makes a lot of ice cream if you can stack all three trays back in the fridge, not in the container, just put it in the fridge like a regular ice cream tray. Lol

Very well made. I bought these to make large ice cubes. I had been using a silicone loaf pan but the sides would bulge and make a mess. They hold their shape and I love that they have a lid.

Works great, food comes out easily. I use it for portioning and pre freezing soups and the like before vacuum sealing. Works much better than my previous trays, food is much easier to get out and there are indicators for portion size. The tray slides easily into vacuum bags.

Freezes easily. You can divide whole recipes up. It takes up a lot of space in the freezer though, so I take out frozen sections and put them in freezer bags for further storage. It's easy to clean and nice to have on hand for soups, chili, homemade dog food, etc.

Gave 4 stars because it does have a bit of overflow and it's hard to gauge how much water to put in and you can't pour it out because the water comes out where you need it. So cool! These containers are amazing! They have been a game changer in the kitchen. They are great for portioning meals to freeze. I just wish I had found them sooner!

Excellent, versatile tool for food prep and storage. I love these trays and have purchased several times in different sizes for myself and my mom. We make a lot of soups, casseroles, etc. and can enjoy some fresh but freeze some for later. Frozen portions are easy to remove by simply running them under warm water for a few seconds or letting them sit on the counter for a few minutes to make it even easier and then can be transferred to freezer containers. The lids are great for preventing spills. Place the trays on a baking sheet and place in the freezer. The brick shape makes it easy to stack and store the frozen portions, but use parchment or wax paper between the bricks or the bricks can stick together. The 1 cup size came in handy when my dad had severe health issues and was limited in what he would or could eat at certain times. We were able to make him whatever he wanted and freeze portions he couldn't eat for him to enjoy later. Also great for making meals for my elderly in laws that they can just pull out of the freezer and easily reheat. If you make your own pet food, these are also great for making large batches and freezing meal portions for your pets to avoid waste. The smaller ROTTAY portion sizes (e.g. 2 tbsp) are great for freezing fresh herbs or freezing fruit or vegetable juice cubes for making frozen smoothies or blended drinks. I've found that cleanup is very easy. Some foods, such as oily or tomato based foods, can initially leave stains or odors, but I've never had a problem with these "setting in": I just soak them in hot, soapy water for a while and the stains seem to come right out. I haven't tested them in the dishwasher yet, though.

You can believe the hype, these are amazing! I do a lot of meal prep. I save the bones from all animals and make a big pot of bone broth. These bowls are perfect for freezing the broth for another day. Recently I made fresh dog food and used these bowls. I was wondering how the thicker mixture would release from the molds, but I had no problems. I love that there are measurements in each cube AND the lids make it easy to stack these molds. I recommend them!

Perfect replacement for disposable plastic bags. I use them to store frozen fruit for my smoothies. I used to use disposable sandwich bags and then throw them away. Each piece is perfect for storing fruit for a 16 ounce smoothie. The frozen fruit just pops out.

Needs better packaging for shipping. Nice size, not too big. I like the lids for the bowls and containers. However, these came in soft bag packaging. Lids for containers and one of the lids for the bowls had chipped corners. Maybe they should wrap these in something and put them in a box for shipping? They don't stand up to the abuse of shipping in soft packaging. Ice cubes come off easily. I love the little tongs and scoop.

The container arrived broken. These ice cube trays are fantastic, the ice pops right out and you don't have to twist or crack it to get it out. Unfortunately, the lid of the container arrived broken so I can't stack them on top of the container. The scoop isn't very… scoop like. It's more flat than a scoop. The tongs are very small. Both of these items went straight into the trash, but the size of the ice container is nice and the ice cube trays are so wonderful that it's worth buying for those two things alone. I just wish my lid was functional.

One of the sturdier bowls I've purchased! As long as you're not too concerned about the plastic lids on the ice trays not breaking (which happens because I flip them over to lose the ice before putting them in the bucket to save myself the struggle), these are great. The ice cubes are larger than other silicone bottomed bowls I've purchased and as long as you don't overfill them, they come out easily. I like the ice bucket and scoop out quite a bit too. Not a bad deal!

Fabulous, game changing meal prep. Where have these been all my life? The ability to freeze things in measured portions, then POPS THEM OUT and put them somewhere else is incredible. You can make a batch of soup, freeze everything in there, and then just take out one frozen portion of soup at a time. Maybe it's the silicone or some coating, but food really just pops out of them when they're completely frozen, making them incredibly easy to use. I freeze soup, leftover broth, meal prep, and all kinds of stuff in them. When they're completely frozen, I squeeze them out and put them in freezer bags. Then I wash the cubes to prepare them for reuse. You can of course just leave them in the cubes, but I use them so often I can't wait!

Nice size, bad design These trays are nice and soft but the design doesn't allow for a demolding angle so the cubes can be released because the swelling of the ice doesn't allow it to come out without damaging the tray

Great product! I was given a ROTTAY as a gift and I liked it so much I ordered another one! I have used the 1 cup cube several times and it is easy to fill, easy to remove frozen stock cubes, broths etc., easy to clean and does not absorb odors or stains. I highly recommend it!

Easy to use. I've used them for both homemade soup and chili verde. Great for single servings, you just get out exactly the amount you need without having to run it under water or defrost the whole bowl. I'm especially pleased with how easy they are to use because when you're 75, your hands don't work as well as they used to, lol. They hold up really well in the freezer, don't break like the hard plastic bowls. And they're good in the top rack of the dishwasher. What did I do without these?!!! These are the greatest! These are great. I have both this size and the 2 cup size from ROTTAY. I love them both for different things. They are easy to use and clean. I use a dry erase marker to label what is inside and this is easy to remove after each use. The only slight downside is that they take up some space in the freezer.

Perfect for meal prep! These are fantastic, I will be buying more as gifts. A must have for meal prep. I made rice and meatballs. The rice froze really well, the meatballs just as well. I took these out of the freezer 2 weeks after the food came out, super easy 5 minute microwave, it tasted just as good as the first day it was cooked. Just freeze, store in freezer bags, reuse those to freeze other things. No need to keep them here, they freeze in a nice block in no time. VERY convenient product, love them!

Another Like These are actually really handy for food storage. They are sturdy and made from high quality material. When I first got them, they had a strong smell. I soaked the containers in vinegar overnight to get rid of the smell. I was worried my food would taste like silicone after pouring them in, but that wasn't the case. I like to blend smoothies and then freeze them in the cubes so I can add the smoothie cube to a glass of water later. This way, I use and wash my blender much less often. And I drink the smoothies much more regularly because they're already made for me. The smoothie I make is made with beetroot, apple, carrot, ginger and lemon and is good for the liver.

50/50 apartment friendly! As a newly moved couple, my partner and I don't have an ice maker on our fridge, meaning we needed a quick, cheap way to make/store ice. The first few weeks went well, but it takes up a lot of space in the freezer. The ice bucket storage box takes up most of the space. Pros: lots of ice, easy to clean/refill each batch. Cons: storage space.

Quality: Overall, I like this set. The ice cube trays are wonderful and the lids make it easy to get the cubes out. I'm terminally ill and don't have the strength in my hands like I used to, so being able to get the cubes out easily is a huge help. The quality is a little cheap in my opinion. The tray lid doesn't always fit on the box or lock properly, but for the price, it's doable.

Coolest thing ever! I live alone so I seem to have leftovers from everything I make. Now I can put them in these containers, put them in the freezer and once the food is frozen I can take them out and store them in a zip lock bag. I love not having to cook all the time, I just have to heat up a cube or two and I'm done! The best part is how sturdy the base and lids are, I don't have to worry about them breaking or cracking!

Overall, it's good. This ice cube tray is quite large, so you can fill it once and have ice for a long time. I appreciate that it's closed, so the ice stays separate from other foods in the fridge, especially raw meat. This is a crucial aspect for us, as we often add ice cubes directly to our drinks and want to avoid any possible contamination. The only downside is that it can be a little tricky to make perfectly round ice cubes. It's a little difficult to fill the top half of the sphere completely.

So easy to make individual servings! I love soup but can't eat a whole pot. Or when I make broth, I like to use 1 or 2 cups per recipe. This product makes it easy to make and portion soups, broths, cooked dried beans, and baked squash. These are things I have done so far. The next day, you can remove the frozen food by squeezing from the back center of each compartment. The food cubes can then be stored in freezer bags until needed. The product is sturdy and easy to use. I expect to use mine for a long time. I would buy it again.

Finally an easy way to freeze and store soups and stews! I regularly make soup to bring to my daughter and aunt and despite asking for them, I rarely get my mason jars back. These are perfect for freezing a cup at a time, which is perfect for a single or possibly two servings. Once frozen, transfer them to a freezer bag, stack them, and move on to the next batch. The only problem is that the lid doesn't fit tightly enough when you put it in the freezer. The soup will spill out because the 4 servings are still flexible unless you are VERY careful to keep the bowl straight when you put it in the freezer. While I know you can bake in the bowl without the lid up to 415 degrees, I haven't tried that yet. I went with the original designer because that has a nice rigid rim that helps stabilize it. While I'm not sure it's possible, making these collapsible would be beneficial for storage. A win win for me. A welcome gift. Especially great for singles or small families. Bought as a gift but I'm thinking of buying one for myself after seeing how much the recipient uses hers.

Great for freezing. I use this tray a lot more than I thought I would! I roasted tomatoes this summer, chopped them up and froze them in this cube for soups in the winter. Now I freeze leftover soup in it! I recommend wrapping the frozen soup or tomatoes in plastic wrap after freezing and then putting them in a ziplock freezer bag. So easy to take out and reheat. The only downside to the company is that you really only need one for one person, so I don't need to buy more. But I really love this one and use it weekly.

Small Cubes These cubes are easy to remove, but they are on the small side. That's OK, but sometimes I want bigger cubes. I put this tray on top of my other trays when I only need a few.

Great. I love this product, it's great. I cook for my puppies and use it to freeze their food. When it's time to feed them, I just heat it up in the microwave or in a small saucepan and voila! It's cheaper than buying frozen dog food online. Great product. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Great for storing broth. I love these, I make a lot of bone broth and these are the perfect size and easy to remove for small storage in freezer bags.

Well worth the purchase! I love Korean food but find it a hassle to carry the ingredients and cook them, especially since I don't live with anyone who eats stews and soups with me. I bought this on a whim a few months ago and it's perfect for quick, leisurely lunches. I just heat up my soup for 5 minutes and it's like having fresh soup! The silicone makes the frozen block easy to pull out and I haven't had any stains in the 3 times I've refilled it. I use it for soybean paste soup. Definitely worth it if you love soups and don't want to make them fresh all the time.

Great storage. A friend bought me the first one. I liked it so much I bought two more. I had a big family and it was very difficult to reduce the amounts I cook. These containers are the best. I can cook a pot of soup and not have to eat it for the next week. I have frozen several different soups and stews. I take out the cubes of frozen soup and put them in plastic freezer bags. Now I have variety for several weeks of lunches or dinners. Great concept!

Vegetable broth!! Great for homemade vegetable broth. Certainly a money saver!

The product deserves its place in the kitchen. I have them in two sizes and decided to give them to people I know who prepare meals. The one cup is better for meal prep in general than the half cup. Both sizes also work great as ice cube trays. My little grandson uses the half cup ice cube trays for his water bottle, as do I, and loves them so much that he refills the trays as well.

Perfect. I've been making more soups and chili lately and the portion size on this one is perfect. Also, taking the soup out after freezing is really easy. The section is flexible enough to push the block out, but not so much that it loses its shape in the freezer. It's great. I'm going to buy a few more sets because I'm constantly making chili.

Perfect! I love these! I use them to make and freeze broths and stocks. I've also used them to make frozen soups for postpartum. I love that they have measurements, a secure lid, and a sturdy wire to keep the silicone straight when putting it in the freezer.

Perfect for freezing homemade soup. These are almost heavy because the silicone is so thick. Well made. Perfect for freezing individual bowls of soup. We will make large batches, pour into the cube trays and freeze overnight. We will then store four cubes in a 1 gallon ZipLoc bag. Getting the soup out is pretty easy. You have to flip the containers over and press on the bottom to push the frozen cubes out of the tray. Maybe microwaving them for 10 seconds will help, but we haven't tried that yet.

Great for leftovers. I like the portion sizes on each section of the container, with the 1/2 cup and 1 cup markings. I have frozen soups, leftover pasta dishes, and homemade broth. The frozen portions are easy to remove from the container and cleanup is easy too.

The trays are nice. Nice ice cream bowl, but the corners of the ice bucket are broken in two places. Otherwise I am happy with the purchase.

Works well. I've found that I don't use up a whole carton of milk before it falls over and I hate having to wastefully pour it out. I now use it to freeze about two cups of milk in each square. You just flip it over, press the bottom of the square and the frozen part of the milk pops right out. No more waste!

Update: Not sure. Retains flavor from last meal. I've had these for 21 1 1/2 years. While they are great for freezing meals, they retain the flavor and pass it on to the next meal frozen in them. And yes, they have been thoroughly washed, cleaned of soap, aired, deglazed with lemon, etc. They still leak flavor. I can't freeze rice in them after eating frozen lamb with garlic, cumin, or onions. I love the ease of use and easy removal of the food, but not the flavor. Update: 5 2023 All of these collapsible silicone food containers from this brand and even ROTTAY leak gases into my food and leave an unpleasant taste. I have washed and hand scrubbed these 3 times every time I have used them. I have had 4 sets from different vendors and 2 1 cup trays from ROTTAY for over a year and they all leak into the food. It still gives off gases whether the food is left in there for just 20 minutes or frozen. It's even worse if you cook the food in the collapsible microwave containers that the website says you can also heat food in. I've never cooked in ROTTAY containers because they have hard edges. Although these are convenient for storage and you can freeze portions in the microwave, I don't think they are safe for your health. Not for our family.

Perfect portions. I really appreciate the measurement markings in the cubes. You can easily flip them over and squeeze out one portion at a time. Perfect for cooking large batches and freezing leftovers and having them ready for meals later in the week!

It's worth it! Whenever I cook a big pot of something, I can set some aside and freeze it. This is so wonderful, beautiful and easy to use! I will be ordering more!!

Amazing! These are amazing! I've used them all summer long to freeze tomato sauce. I put the frozen blocks in a freezer bag and they take up much less space in the freezer than containers. I highly recommend them.

the best ice for all purposes not just whiskey!!!! We used the ice balls in our thermos when it was so hot. They fit really well and keep your drink pretty cold. Filling the tray takes a little trial and error to fill it just right so the balls are perfectly round. I gave it four stars because the holder couldn't hold all 12 ice balls and close the lid. This is a design flaw that can be annoying if you like to keep your ice in a container so refrigerator odors don't affect the taste and smell of your ice cream.

Easy to use and clean. These cubes are a game changer for meal prep and cooking large quantities! I've made chili and butternut squash soup so far. The cubes pop out easily and clean up is a breeze. My chili didn't even stain.

So useful! It can be cheaper. Was not a fan of the color or orientation of the blocks on the fake. It seems like the layout of this product makes it easier to push out of the cube. Grab the edges on either side and use both thumbs to push the block out. Previous use: Freeze one pot meals in blocks. Awesome. Whip rice, put a gumbo cube on top, microwave. Freeze milk to keep it good past the expiration date. Jug holds half a gallon, then add cubes when it gets low. Freeze small 1 cup blocks of ice to make the chilled ice last longer. 8 1 cup blocks fit nicely in a 3 quart ziplock bag, making nice stackable ice packs.

small round ice cubes. I love those round ice cube trays. They were a little small though. I think my granddaughter had a lot of fun with them, more than I did. I got three trays, an ice box for the ice cream scoop and some ice tongs. I probably got three full jars of ice cream.

My new favorite product. I couldn't love this product more. When I first got it, I was excited to store up to eight cups of soup in single servings for easy lunches. Then I realized I could take the frozen soup out and store it in a bag while I froze more soup. So. Now I have frozen single servings of 4 types of soup, chili, and applesauce in my freezer. My teens are excited to be able to grab whatever they like for lunch. I now feel like I should buy this for everyone I know because it makes such a positive difference to our eating experience. I should be in a commercial for it or something.

Easy to use! My sister had these ice cube trays and I adored them. I liked how easy it was to get the ice cubes out by pushing from the bottom. The only thing I didn't like was that the lid of the container that seals the cubes was broken, but that wasn't enough to send it back. I doubt I'd use it much anyway.

Can't just cook for two. Love this product. Can't get used to cooking for two. For sauces, soups and stews it is perfect. I make often enough to share with my elderly in laws. So easy to take it out and then put it in the microwave. My in laws use a double boiler to reheat, results are better than microwave. I take out a soup, pour it into a microwave safe container and take homemade soup to lunch. Just the right amount. Will buy more.

I loooooove this product! What I love is the sturdy frame around the cubes so you don't have to worry about spilling anything when transporting them to the freezer. I use mine primarily for freezing bone broth into recipe sized 1 cup cubes, but it will also come in handy for freezing fresh pumpkin puree for pies. No more waste! I found these while looking for food storage containers and bought one because it's fall and soup season! I recently made a big batch of chicken and pasta and knew I would freeze the leftovers. This product was so easy to use! The silicone is very sturdy and cleanup was easy (dishwasher). With a little nudge from the bottom, the "bricks" of frozen food came out without much effort. I then put them in a freezer bag until I want to reheat them. The best invention for leftover soup. Seriously, what a genius idea. Freeze soup in blocks. Reheat and enjoy in perfect portions. This is exactly what newlyweds need. For me, it's an ease in transitioning from feeding four teenagers to a more empty nest without having to figure out how to cook for just a handful of people again.
