Nice trash can. Nice bucket, really light. Only problem is my grandkids keep turning off the hand motion detector, so when I wave my hand, it often doesn't work and I have to turn it on. For that reason, I'm going to return it and get a model with a foot pedal. Other than that, it's a great bucket.

This is really great. It is quiet to operate and the wide opening is a plus. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't have an on/off switch, so when you take the lid off to remove the bag, the lid always pops open and it's difficult to put it on the floor until you put the new bag in. Other than that, this is a great device and over time it will pay for itself.

Black stainless steel trash can. My boyfriend had one of these and I loved it so I bought one for myself. It's a great trash can for any kitchen. It works fantastic. I don't have to touch trash anymore.

No more looking at the trash. I like the capacity and quality of this trash can. It also keeps the smell away. It is very sturdy. The only thing I don't like is that it is battery operated. My mistake for not reading it properly. So far I have used it for 6 months without having to change the battery. If a lot of people open and close it, I would recommend you to buy a model with a plug. Otherwise it is fine for a single person. Or just use rechargeable batteries. I would buy it again.

Smaller than expected. The listing said a 13.1 gallon trash can. Our current one is a 13 gallon trash can that we are replacing and it is much larger than this one. Should have measured before ordering.

I was excited but it took a while to get this update but their customer service was fantastic. They responded very quickly and I got replacements very quickly and now it has worked for several months with no issues. Originally I was excited, it worked exactly as described except when out of the blue it decided to stop working. It has been less than 4 months since I bought it and the sensor is not working as well or sometimes not working at all. This is really unfortunate.

Works so well. This product works extremely well. I had another one for 3 years and that worked well too! It probably would have lasted longer if the grandkids hadn't been playing with it.

The motor stopped working. I've had it since April 2023 and the motor stopped working. Replacing the batteries didn't work. I contacted support last week and got no response. Update: The manufacturer finally responded and told me to reset the motor. I wasn't sure how, but I just held down the button and a red light appeared. It's been working fine since then.

The automatic opening trash can is a nice improvement! It's really nice to just wave the trash can to open it rather than having to step on a foot pedal that also moves the can!

I love the motion sensor on top! This trash can is amazing. I switched from an ugly plastic one to this one. It's so smooth and clean, the bags don't slide into the bin because there's a ring under the lid that keeps the trash bag in place. And I love the motion sensor opening! I definitely recommend this one!

Nice addition to the kitchen. My only criticism of this can is that it has to be manually overridden in case the battery runs out. Ultimately, it is an excellent product and works perfectly. Handy when working with raw meat, poultry and fish.

Pretty good. My only complaint is that the opening mechanism is a little loud. I have a different brand of automatic trash can that is significantly quieter. It looks pretty good and I like that it has a very narrow depth. For the specific location of this trash can, as shallow a depth as possible is ideal. I don't use disposable batteries if I can avoid them. I put 6 rechargeable AA batteries in this thing and used adapters that replace a single D battery with 3 AA batteries.

Dog proof! This is our second trash can of this type. Our dog broke the sensor light with his nail after 2 years with our first trash can. These are the best because they are affordable, durable, hide the edge of the trash bag, and we can turn it off or lock it when our dogs are inside! The lid never slams shut.

Great can This trash can is exactly what I was looking for. It is made of stainless steel and has an automatic sensor opening. What I really like about this can is that the lid opening is actually quite wide. Many automatic can lids have a much smaller opening than the actual can, but this one goes almost to the edge. No more kittens trying to get to the trash!

After months of searching, we found the perfect, inexpensive trash can! Trash cans are WAY too expensive and our old one, although broken, still worked. But it was hard to clean and looked sad. Finally, I found this ROTTAY 13 gallon trash can with a black lid instead of a stainless steel lid and that's when it clicked! After a few months, I can say that it stays clean and has no nooks and crannies for crumbs or trash to collect. The bag is easy to replace and we've finally gotten used to the automatic opener. It does open when you get too close, but I think it just says "hello." I love this not very expensive trash can and expect it to last a long time.

MEH. For the money, the plastic rim that secures the bag was too flimsy and ripped in less than two weeks. It took the dog less than a minute to figure out how to trigger the sensor to open it and it's not a purchase I'm likely to make again for the money.

I had auto opening kitchen trash/recycling bins for 6 years that were more expensive and heavier before purchasing these bins. So far we are very happy with the 13 gallon capacity, easy loading of trash bags, and the auto open feature.

The capacity seems to be less than average. The capacity seems to be less than the average 13 gallon canister, but I think that's because of the design. It's narrow inside and you have to empty the canister practically daily, which is fine for me, but not for my husband…lol. I love the look and the motion detection! The motion detection is pretty sensitive, so place it in an area you have to pass by constantly. All in all, a great purchase!

Touchless Trash can I never thought I'd say this. This trash can is great! It doesn't bang against the cabinet anymore because we don't have to touch it. The motion sensor isn't too sensitive so it doesn't open every time you go near it. It only takes 2 D batteries instead of 4 like others. It seems sturdy and easy to clean. Oh, and for half the price of some others that have the step feature. I would recommend this trash can if you're looking for an upgrade.

Good product. Does exactly what you would expect. I noticed in other reviewers' pictures that the bag was hanging out. You can tuck it back in to make it look a little better.

Annoying sensor. The motion sensor activates just by walking past it. I'm pretty sure my shadow activates it. Pretty annoying but I knew that from other reviews and I'll live with it. It arrived dented but I didn't want to send it back just for the next one from the shipping company to get a dent. I'm pretty sure it was the shipping company that dented it because it was packaged really well. I pushed the dent out and live with it because eventually someone in the house is going to run into it and dent it, kids.

Great touchless trash can. I love the trash can. It's nice that you can leave the lid open while cooking to throw leftovers in. Also, I leave it open when I'm cooking in the kitchen so it doesn't keep opening as I walk around. The stainless steel color looks nice in the kitchen.

It works, it works well. For some reason I thought there was an inner removable plastic trash can, but there isn't. It works without it, it has a collar to hold the trash bag. If it needs cleaning, that could be a problem. If you get closer, it opens, but that's probably obvious.
