I didn't expect it to be this big. I have two others that are half the size and I can easily use them to jump start my car. But this thing is pretty heavy and seems well made. It should have enough power to jump start just about anything. The flashlight is also handy but not overly bright. The only downside I found to this jump starter is that it takes a long time to charge due to its size.

I've had it for less than a year, used it twice and now it won't charge. I've tried contacting the company twice but never got a response and I doubt I ever will. UPDATE: I was wrong. I contacted them and they assured me their product was safe and replaced it. I have to say I highly recommend this brand.

Plug in the cable, the green status light comes on, try to start the engine, if an error occurs, unplug the cable and plug it back in to reset. I was helping a neighbor tonight and it took 5 attempts to start his engine but the battery still said it was fully charged. The battery was actually dead because I couldn't even open the trunk of the car. I noticed the cable was a little hot from the voltage but the unit worked fine.

I tried 5 different starters for my 2005 V8 that had been sitting for almost 3 years. No other good looking starter in the same price range would start my car. Only this one did. So if you want a reliable starter, get this one.

I bought several and put one in each car. My kids take them to college. They are a must have in case of emergency.

It does not fit engines with more than 4 cylinders. I returned it and received a refund as it was still under warranty even though the return date had passed.

EDIT. After contacting them, they were kind enough to buy me a new one immediately. So now I am very happy with it. I am very impressed with its performance. At first this starter seemed huge, like my big truck.

My 7.3L diesel battery drains quickly, but this unit starts it without any problems. I must say though that it will need to be recharged after starting, as the battery drains when starting the car.
