Looks nice but… This toy seems well made but has some deceptive features. One of the buttons in the middle of a circle of lights turns on the lights which cycle on and off at a faster rate the further you turn the button. This is fine but next to each light is a picture of a musical note which makes you think it makes a noise. It doesn't. The key function will be difficult for a toddler as the key and keyhole are very small. Also there are two identical keys, a great idea but both are attached to the box in such a way that one of them cannot be removed. Finally, the instructions are abysmal. It is difficult to see where the batteries come from on the instruction card and outside the battery box there is no indication of the size required (2 AAA). The instructions say to turn the unit off when not in use; there is no main power switch.

So many switches! My 14 month old grandson LOVES this thing. There are so many switches to turn on and off and each one lights up a lightbulb. The little plug cord is great for hand eye coordination but does require some strength to plug and unplug. The battery compartment is under a screwed in part so no problem with that. Highly recommended for those busy little fingers.

Toddlers love it. Both 5 and 2 year olds love it. I catch them playing with it 1 2 times a day when they are watching TV or just need some kind of sensory touch care.

Amazing. This is amazingly put together and great for occupational therapy and the best part is that it is not too expensive. I am a mom of a baby with very complex medical issues and so many things that could help her learn cognitive skills and more are so expensive that she has to forego things that could really help her. But this is fantastic. I just wish it made a noise or something to keep her occupied and playing

This toy is a must buy. It is much cooler than I expected. It has tons of working lights that you can turn on in a different way. It is also higher quality than I expected. Plus it is open ended. I bought this for my 1 year old daughter's birthday but my 7 year old son likes it even more than she does! He pretends it is his control panel. I can see us having many years of imaginative play with this product.

Snaps and buttons are tight. Overall I am happy with this product, but when I tried the buttons and snaps I felt like they would be difficult for a toddler to open. Hopefully they will loosen up over time.

But if you're afraid of your kids leaving the lights on, this isn't for you. It lasted a long time, although he kept leaving one or two lights on so I could turn them off. One of the switch wires unsoldered after a day or two. But I coaxed it out of the wood with one of those little pry bars that always come in screwdriver sets and repaired it with no problem.

Zippers, buckles, snaps, buttons, laces and more. The felt material used is quite colorful but doesn't seem sturdy. I'm afraid the shirt sleeves are already tearing, the buttonholes are too small to button with little hands. The rest of the book is OK, the activities are cute. The book is cute. I wish it was a bit sturdier. The kids played with it for a long time, they are twins, about 1.5 years old. The velcro puzzle and the zippers were their favorites.

Great toy! But possible danger… It's a great toy and great quality! My only concern is that after some tugging by my toddler, the little metal piece from the blue wire that plugs into the yellow light popped right out and got stuck in the socket. The metal piece is small enough to swallow, which can be a choking hazard. It looks like an easy fix, though. Maybe some superglue could help hold it in place. Other than that, my toddler loves playing with it!

No sound so it's not overstimulating. We've dropped it a few times on soft surfaces and it seems to do well, but I'm not sure about hard surfaces. The key only works on one light, not the entire power supply. First off, I love this busy board. However, it was described as the key turning all the lights off to save battery life. Mine at least only turns one light on and off. The back of the box has a slight curve on one side so it is not completely smooth. The board/box with the switches is a perfect toy for my grandson as he is only interested in buttons at the moment and is curious about how things work. My 4 stars are for the quality control. I still recommend this toy.

Finally a good one! I've tried several of these switchboards. This one is VERY WELL made. I immediately noticed the noticeable difference in the quality of the wood and the switches. I'm confident it won't break after a few days like the others. The only thing I would improve would be to add a master switch that turns the whole board off. Great but not that durable. So this is a very cute toy. My one year old who loves switches is crazy about this toy. The only problem is we just got it today, about an hour ago, and the part in the photo fell apart. My son likes to chew on it and I'm sure his goal was to get that part off. Still, he managed to get it off. In my opinion, it's not entirely safe to potentially swallow that conductive metal part. Just be careful of the condition of this toy. I would buy it again. The manufacturer needs to secure this part better or just leave it out.

Great for fine motor skills! I recently noticed that my toddler has been really interested in lights and light switches lately and I really wanted something that was more than just lights and music. Thanks to this toy, my son has achieved everything I wanted and more. The first thing that stands out about this Busy Board toy is that it is a good hand size, lightweight and easy for a toddler to carry around as much as they want. It is also good for travel and would be great to take on vacation as it is such a portable size. It takes two AAA batteries to get it going but once it is on it can do so many things! Even for my 2 year old son it was pretty easy to figure out but I like that each light does something different so he has to put in some effort to get each light to come on. I love that everything is well secured to the board so I don't have to worry about losing pieces and I loved that it came with two keys for "just in case". The lights on the board are not too bright and perfect for little eyes. Overall, this board is great for little hands and perfect for helping them learn about different switches and how lights work. I find this board really educational and fun for my toddler. I highly recommend it to any parents looking for something fun but that will also help develop their motor skills!

Exciting! This toy is so much fun! Even my husband loved it! It's the perfect size to throw in the diaper bag and let your child play with it in the car or in the cart at the store. No annoying noises! Just lights! And driving around in the dark makes it especially fun for the kids!! My only complaint is that the key part is a little difficult for little ones.

Curiosity is very helpful in learning our children. My first internship was many years ago. In the 1970s Montessori was introduced. In New York City in Lower Eastside it was offered in many daycare centers. It is my age. My daughters attended her and one became an artist and she is now starting a new curriculum in South Carolina and she is very proud of her achievement. The youngest has taught her 6 children how to find out things about their own reading skills and overcome their fears to learn to read at 5. I am a very proud grandmother and the two youngest have gotten scholarship programs. They have been able to help their peers. To explain how to understand the subject. When I talk to them I wonder what planet you are from? I highly recommend this. Expand their horizons, it is a great way for their self esteem. You will not be very proud of them and will not regret your purchase and it is for girls! And girls/boys like cars and dinosaurs vice versa. We can learn from our children. Perfect for diaper bag and travel. We recently flew across country with our 18 month old twins. We bought one for each of them and it kept them entertained for a while. Now I keep it in my diaper bag for date nights, restaurants or trips. They are lightweight and the battery life is great. The plug on one of my devices stopped working but my girls always sucked on it and held it by the cord. I think this was more due to them playing roughly than the quality of the product. I would buy it again and highly recommend it to all my friends with babies. All of my older nieces and nephews surprisingly liked it too, they made up games and pretended to control airplanes etc with the switches.

Great toy. I gave it to my youngest, 2 year old grandson for his birthday. He literally carried it everywhere with him for the first few days. And he just loves playing with the switches, buttons and lights. Great gift for all curious little ones.

Cool! Even older kids are interested. I love this toy! Gave it to my son for his 2nd birthday, but his 8 year old older sister and her friends have also been interested from time to time! It's interesting. Reminds me of what Homer Simpson's control panel might look like, lol. Sometimes I wish it had a master on/off switch. Otherwise you have to operate each switch individually. On the other hand, it makes it more fun for the kids.

Car ride entertainment This board kept my two kids entertained for hours on a long car ride. We leave it in the car and they still enjoy it on short trips.

Keeps baby busy. I bought this to give to my son as a new toy for a flight. This was an excellent choice! It kept him busy/entertained for quite a while before he got bored on the flight, but at home he loves this little thing! He continues to play with it every day and it not only entertains him or helps him develop his motor skills, I showed him how each mechanism works once and from then on he was able to figure it out, he is one year old. I was hesitant to purchase at first because I had read some reviews that said they had received a faulty toy, but the one I received has been thrown, dropped, kicked, etc. and has had no issues. We have had it for a couple months now and it still works perfectly with daily use.

A 1 year old loves this toy. It was a hit on vacation with the baby! Great for sensory development and very sturdy so far. He has dropped it a few times and it still works as intended. I would like it to make sounds as it only lights up. There is a music icon on the device but it doesn't make any sound.

Perfect busy button board! She loves buttons so this has quickly become her favorite board! Was a little disappointed when the note section didn't make any noise but overall this is probably perfect because then you can take it to lots of places without noise being an issue!

Holds toddlers attention. Edit: I read other reviews and even though many said one light didn't work, I decided to try it anyway. Plus, I don't think it would bother my two year old. Now, the light not coming on isn't the problem. One light, the main light, never turns off! It uses up all the batteries we put in within hours, so we have to take them out again when he's done playing and we want to conserve the batteries. EDIT: The seller was actually really nice when our product didn't work. He sent us a new one for free and we've been playing with it for a couple weeks now and no issues. It was a lifesaver when we were on vacation in Florida and sat in restaurants for a while. He has something to keep him busy and kept my two year old's attention for a decent amount of time.

Great toy, but… Very disappointing that it came in the small original manufacturer's box. It's a gift for my grandson and the packaging was pretty battered, along with the USPS sticker. I'm not sure why they chose to ship it that way, but it definitely should have been in a GGIU cardboard box. Cute toy for busy two year olds!

Long term commitment. Bought this for my 4 year old and 15 month old right before a cross country flight. They had played with a friend's toy before so I knew they would both be interested in it. It has been dropped many times and nothing has broken. We have owned it for about 3 months now. We are going on a long road trip this week and this toy is a must have in our luggage. Love it!
