It's amazing how cheap the price is and how high the quality is.

This device is great for finding bolts that have fallen out of the timing gear components of an engine. I was able to swivel the camera far enough to confirm that the bolt had gone through the timing gear components and into the oil pan area. Without this tool, I would have had to scramble to lower the oil pan and hope the bolt was still there. It was well worth the investment. The light is very bright, although in the very small space I was working in, it didn't matter. In fact, there were a few times when the light was so bright that all I could see was a reflection or glare off the back of the oil pan, or a small puddle of oil on the floor. I accidentally dipped the lens in oil several times while trying to swivel it. Other than having to wipe the oil off the lens and start over, it didn't seem to have any ill effects. So far it has worked great. One thing to note: the hook and magnetic mount are located right in front of the camera. Once attached, they block the view. I tried to remove the screw with the magnet in hopes of getting it to come out. Unfortunately, there were a lot of objects around that were more magnetic than the bolt, so it was useless and not the camera's fault. I had to bend the magnet and hook slightly so they weren't pointing directly at the camera.

The price and versatility of a Wi Fi enabled remote display is unmatched.

Although the manual states that the camera's diameter without the end cap is 5.5mm it should actually be 0.21 inch, the camera does not fit the 22lr with a 0.224 inch aperture diameter.

It fits into tight spaces and provides a clear color image of the area being viewed. I use it to perform diagnostic tests on appliances and HVAC systems.

This worked great and confirmed the bent valves on my engine.

For the price, this is a very useful tool, and I was impressed by how easy it is to record video. But it is very basic, the automatic brightness control in particular is very annoying as it focuses on closer and brighter objects, whereas the manual control allows you to see more clearly. Also, the right angle mirror is useless as the light is coming from the side and is very bright, so the automatic brightness control will be pushed to the maximum and you won't be able to see anything else in the mirror.

We used it to monitor a colony of blue tits living in a nest three metres above the ground.

This is awesome! I dropped my wedding ring and it ended up in the gap between the baseboard and the cabinet. I could never have done it again even if I tried again. This endoscope does exactly what I wanted. The Android app is easy to download and set up. The camera is easy to use once you get used to using the endoscope. The cable is flexible but stiff enough to get into tight areas. The image quality is 1080p, but I highly doubt the resolution is that high. Still, the image quality is good enough for me. I like that it connects to your smartphone or tablet via WiFi, so you're not physically tethered to your device. At under 30, this is a great device for use around the home and garage. It's one of those tools you didn't really know you needed, but once you have it, it's a must have.

used this to plug a bathtub drain and found that the drain wasn't clogged, but the drain plug was blocking the hole in both the "open" and "closed" positions. So I unscrewed the drain plug and removed the entire drain plug from the pipe and now just use the rubber stopper. Thanks! I actually bought this to check for damage to the wires in the wall. But this is my first time using it. It's great!

bought this telescope because I really needed to see what was behind the engine but just couldn't see it. It was shipped the next day so I could get my car running again asap. It arrived and for the low price of 30 it was a great buy. The image was clear, it connected easily to my phone via wifi commands and the vehicle issue was fixed immediately. I was off to work the next morning. I have since found various uses for this telescope around the house and am still glad I spent the money on this telescope. Excellent quality, a true gem in the rough!

Using a phone or tablet to watch the video is a huge plus. My old device cost over 100 and was very bulky and unusable. The mechanical breakaway feature allows for use in situations where it would have been inconvenient to use the device before. Being able to record images and audio directly to the phone and use all of the phone's file management features is a huge plus.

The oscilloscope arrived on time and was exactly as described. The instructions were a little short and hard to understand for someone my age, but the software download and installation was very intuitive and I was able to get started quickly. The images are clear. I think this instrument will be very useful for repairing a very tight BMW engine.

I like that it allows you to see behind or inside better than with a rearview mirror. You can change the viewing angle by rotating the viewfinder. It makes the impossible possible.

This camera was purchased to recover a hard to find 1970s 16 point exterior water shutoff valve that had fallen behind a piece of drywall during repair. It took me a while to learn how to aim the camera and thread the fitting into a three inch hole, but I was able to remove the handle without having to remove and replace the drywall. If you only need a 5 foot long flexible cable to reach your target area, I would recommend this camera for its ease of use, good image quality, and user friendly software. The software works great over Wi Fi rather than Bluetooth as long as your mobile device is connected to the same Wi Fi network. I don't usually stop to ask or read the instructions, but in this case, I recommend it. I initially thought it was a direct Bluetooth phone connection, which would have saved me a few minutes. Considering its size, the light from this little camera is bright enough to help you navigate an enclosed space in complete darkness.

While installing my video doorbell, I lost one of the wires in my 1930s front door frame. Despite numerous attempts including double sided tape, a fishing pole, and even a vacuum cleaner, I ultimately decided I had no choice but to remove the trim since it would cause permanent damage, rip out part of the basement ceiling to see if I could run new wires in conduit, or call an electrician. I couldn't find an electrician willing to do this small job and I didn't want to permanently change my home because of a stupid doorbell, so I left it there for a while. About a month later, my unit was sent to a repair shop and they diagnosed the problem by installing a small camera in the air vent. Hmm, I thought, I wonder… Well, this week I bought the little device for less than 30, spent 10 minutes looking for the wires, connected it to another bunch of twisted wires and now the doorbell is fully wired. I now have a cool toy that I can use anywhere when I, a friend or myself want to see what the naked eye can't see!

Everything comes in a nice box and the clip on tips are in a nice little tube with a lid so you don't lose them and there is a velcro strap to keep the coiled cable in place.

had a broken wire at the bottom of my sailboat mast that I couldn't get out. I drilled a hole in the bottom of the mast and pulled the wire out, but it was attached to the other wires. Using a drilling microscope, I was able to remove the broken wire and reconnect it. It's nice to know that I can use the magnetic head on this amazing tool to retrieve any bolts or nuts that have fallen to the bottom of the boat.

thought I heard water running so I wanted to check the pipes on the wall behind the shower. This borescope was perfect for the job and only required a small hole. I used a 1/4" drill bit. After setting the correct brightness on the camera controller, I was able to look through the various fixtures and check for leaks. There were no leaks! The small hole was easily plugged. No hassle or hassle. And at under 30, it was a great deal.

An ethernet cable fell through the wall and couldn't be found. I had another high powered telescope but couldn't find it either. I ordered this one as a replacement and it didn't disappoint. The password was a little confusing but I eventually figured it out, set it up on my phone, reached into the junction box and unplugged the cable. Once set up it was easy to use and the image quality was better than expected. The slim profile makes it easy to get into hard to reach areas. I don't know how durable it is but it works.

Until recently, I used it to determine the location of the hole in the wall cavity through which the existing wires were run from the roof of the electrical box to the attic. I was also able to determine that the hole was large enough to accommodate the new wires. Knowing the location of the hole three feet from the electrical box, I was able to run tape through the cavity and hole to determine the location in the attic and run new wires for additional lighting.

Very useful tool. A piece of plastic on the end of the fuel nozzle broke off and fell into the tank of my tractor. It got stuck under the fuel gauge sensor float and stopped the gauge from working. I was able to see it with the scope and remove it. What a great purchase!

ordered the product today and received it today. It helped me see inside the engine cylinder. I saw the tape being pushed into the cylinder through the spark plug hole when painting the cylinder head. Using a hook and a small bending cone, I was able to pull the tape through the spark plug hole. I am very satisfied. The stiffness of the wire allowed me to bend it so I could remove the tape.
