The settings part was a bit difficult for me to figure out

I wanted a smart lock but didn't want to shell out the dollars

Only to hear it make a mistake and make a clicking noise

Easy to use, easy to install and assemble

It was as easy as taking out my old lock and putting this one in its place

Had a little trouble with the programming, but after a few tries it worked

Love it! I can't comment on the installation as I had help, but it was installed in 15 minutes

Recently the doors were replaced and I needed black locks

I'm not handy and had no problems with the installation

This lock is great, especially for the price

I like the look of it and would definitely buy it again

We have renters on Airbnb and they were able to use it without any problem

Make sure you have a Phillips screwdriver and 4 AA batteries (there's always a bargain at Harbor Freight!)

However, you simply enter the code you set and then you will get the lock/unlock button

For this price, this is a good, no-frills electronic lock

I tried and tried and tried and watched YouTube videos and while I could program it, I couldn't lock or unlock it with these codes

It's difficult to get teenagers to remember to lock a regular door

I just installed it today and I'm still not 100% sure it will always work

It's literally the same lock as the Weiser brand, which costs over $200 in stores, and the Kwikset version, available here

I had to cut out part of the door so that the new lock pieces would fit my door

The reviews indicated that the Kwikset motor broke every few years and I didn't want to keep buying them

They are used for a residential unit because you just have the keys nearby and don't have to deal with them

The illuminated keyboard makes operation easier even in the dark

No more need to hide a key outside for friends or family

When you are outside and walking, just press the lock button to lock it

After I entered the location code for the lock (PC, Enter, 0, Enter), it figured out which direction it was positioned and now it actually locks and unlocks!

The small adjustment to the larger mouth plate did the trick

Just enter the code and go into the house and keep them nice and safe

This was purchased to replace a Weiser keypad lock that stopped working after just three years

However, I liked this one so much that I bought another one for both entrance doors

I bought it as an open box from itwarehouse

A quick note about something I couldn't find in the manual

After that, programming your codes was easy

It took me more than a minute to figure out what PC code meant and what it had to do with me

Where we live we have pretty extreme seasons, so we had to get a larger plate for the door frame as the height of the door fluctuates and the lock won't open when under tension

It is very practical and convenient when you forget the door key

Otherwise, the programming mode will fail with red lights, which will make you panic and think that you no longer have any programming skills because the programming code doesn't work

When I installed this lock set in October, I was inclined to give it a five because it's easy to install and program, and it also fits the openings for the Weiser lock it replaced
