The sensor could be better. The fingerprint reader usually takes 3 or more tries before it works. The auto lock feature is fantastic except that once it locks, it will unlock 3 times before it stays locked. I think there is something wrong with the sensor. The PIN code feature works great and allows for multiple codes which is amazing. Overall, it is affordable and works well enough that we enjoy it despite the quirks.

The jury is still out on reliability, so far this is an easy to install, fully featured product. This is an early review and the reputable lock company we have relied on in the past has an obvious flaw in the design/quality of their internal mechanism that results in a number of similar failures. Perhaps ROTTAY will have the same flaws, or perhaps not. I was skeptical on all counts given the price and claimed features. The installation instructions were mostly clear. There are a few quirks, but overall I highly recommend this lock if you are looking for a fully featured electronic deadbolt without smart lock features.

The programming instructions are not clear. The programming instructions can be cumbersome and unclear. The product is well made.

Sharp and impressive hubs installed it with no problems as soon as we received it, we entered a few codes and fingerprints and so far everything is going well!

Keyless entry I have been using it for almost 3 months and I am very happy with the convenience it offers. I no longer have to worry about losing the key or needing a key. I have not had the opportunity to program the fingerprint. I just use the code and it is easy to set up and use. It meets my needs and I am really happy with the product.

Here's the manual! Excellent product! Great value for a product without WiFi. Reliability is good and installation was easy. I haven't had to change the original batteries since installing it about four months ago. For some reason the manual/code sheet is hard to find online, so here it is!

Works pretty damn well. This is a surprisingly good lock. The only issue we had was using the fingerprint reader with wet hands. Even damp hands can throw it off sync. Even when dry, you have to position your finger just right or it won't read properly, so make sure you set up a PIN as well and not just the fingerprint. I've had it for about 5 months and so far it's going well. Who knows how long it will last. If I could add one feature to this lock, it would be the ability to lock or unlock it with your phone or fob. Sometimes you come home and have your hands full. I like the idea of a fob. Especially for those who aren't familiar with phones. Of course, it would be a totally different lock.

Easy to install, beautiful appearance. The outside finish is brushed nickel, but the inside part is a different color, black or bronze.

Very nice design, needs a little improvement. After learning that the product wasn't working as intended, customer service was quick to help fix the problem. Please note when purchasing this lock that the back of the lock is black plastic and the color of the front lock does not match, unlike some competitors. I'm really glad that customer service was so quick to respond to my concerns and would recommend anyone to purchase ROTTAY products. Overall very satisfied!

I absolutely love it. My son had a stroke a few years ago and has memory problems and couldn't remember the door code. This is absolutely brilliant. One of the best things I've ever bought.

Satisfied!! Love it but………you will forget your chosen programmed code as it relies so heavily on that fingerprint. Make sure you program your print twice so you can use both hands/fingers of your choice just in case god forbid something happens to either of your two hands/fingers. Also people who wear or have long nails should be careful that what they type in eg "No nail/nail knuckle" is read. It will annoy you if it doesn't read. Another good thing is that keys are of course provided too, phew lol

Great lock. I've had this lock on my door for a month. Installation was easy and straightforward. Programming takes a while. But it's worth it. I locked myself out and was able to get in with my fingerprint. I recommend this product.

So far so good. Put it on my front door as my kids keep losing their keys. You can store all sorts of fingerprints on it. It takes a second to program but isn't a problem. If your kid messes up too many times it will stop reading but just wait a minute and it will come back. Has an automatic lock which I like. It took about 10 minutes to install but I'm handy.

Multiple codes. Installation was easy. Adding the code wasn't hard either. But I added my fingerprint and it got cold outside. I'm not sure if the cold reset the fingerprint sensor. I can't use my print anymore. I'll wait until it gets warm to reprogram my print. I can also add multiple codes for different family members, but I'm not sure why when there's no app to find out who last unlocked the house.

The fingerprint reader is sensitive but ROTTAY's customer service is great. The value for money is great. The fingerprint sensor still needs improvement but ROTTAY was very helpful.

Easy to install, the fingerprint reader is very useful. Very reasonable price for a coded door lock. The inner casing of the lock is plastic, but that's inside, the outside is made of durable stainless steel. The lock requires you to set a default programming code. It is not printed on the inside of the lock like many other locks. The fingerprint reader is easy to program and supports multiple fingerprints. This lock requires a 2 1/8" hole to be drilled.

Very easy installation. This was easier than putting a deadbolt and the doorknob on even though I had pre drilled holes. Programming it was easy too, just follow the instructions. It was so easy. I think I got it done in 20 minutes, maybe 25 at the most. Definitely a must have, we'll see how durable and powerful it is.

Worth every penny! I ordered this after my electronic deadbolt stopped working and I am IMPRESSED. For the price, you really can't beat this. My original deadbolt was well over 200 and stopped working within a year. This deadbolt was easier to install AND has the fingerprint option. Definitely give this a try!

The fingerprint didn't work. The fingerprint doesn't work. Reading fingerprints can be difficult for some people with light fingerprints, such as seniors like me.

So easy to install and works great. The instructions in the user manual were easy to read and follow. The lock works perfectly. The only disappointment is that you have to use alkaline batteries as rechargeable batteries don't work as efficiently and can damage the lock. Now all that's left to do is add the fingerprint information for the kids and grandkids.

Highly recommended. When I received the lock it was not working properly. I called customer service and they were very polite and stood behind their product. They quickly sent me a replacement lock that works perfectly. I contacted them Wednesday morning and had the new lock Friday afternoon. I highly recommend this lock and this company.

advanced electronic lock This is my third electronic deadbolt lock with the most advanced/sophisticated fingerprint reader and 10 keys instead of the usual 5 keys of other/older locks and the lowest cost. Installation is straightforward. Everything works as described. The seller emailed manuals which must be kept as it is not easy to remember programming such an advanced device. Works quite well so far and highly recommended.

Great lock. I really liked the lock. It's simple, no wifi, bluetooth or other unnecessary features. I installed it on the front door and it worked in direct rain and sun. All I needed was code and fingerprint unlocking features.

Overall a great lock, easy to install. Easy to install and program with the included instructions. I especially like that the keypad lights up when in use. The lock works as intended and seems well made. Nice features like automatic relocking after entering and exiting, the ability to turn off the beeping buttons, and using multiple codes for access. I think the black interior finish makes a good product look a bit cheap. Also, the back cover pops off every time the kids bump into it when entering the lock. I had to use a little silicone sealant to keep it secure. The door handles could be a little bigger and the edges more rounded. The handles don't hurt my hand, but the edges don't feel smooth. Overall a great lock that could get 5 stars with some minor improvements.

Works so far, customizable codes and timer. I've had it for about half a month and it's working well so far. It snowed and was below zero for a few days and it still works, including recognizing my fingerprint. I love that I can set it to automatically lock after a certain amount of time. I also love that I can set my own codes to open it. Installation was easy, although there were some screws and a screw hole that I didn't use. I'm not entirely sure about that. I'll update again in a few months.

Happy so far. Installation went smoothly and programming was a breeze. The fingerprint reader is iffy at best. I'd say it works about 50% of the time and I end up having to enter the code to open the door, but all in all I'm happy.

Why does the auto lock activate even when the door is open? This is great because when the auto lock is activated, the door will lock when the door is open. Have you ever tried to close your door when the latch is extended? This leaves horrible marks on your door panel. This seems to be easy to fix with a magnetic switch or even a compass chip.

Fingerprint Reader EXCELLENT I love the ease of opening my door with the fingerprint reader EXCELLENT! Just in case that doesn't work, I love the opening key and combination backups! All of the features are incredible, but they would add so much to my life as a single homeowner that I doubt I'll ever need them. The smoothness of operation is impressive. It seems that changing the batteries won't be too difficult. Although I was able to set up the combination and fingerprint features myself, I decided to hire a professional locksmith to replace the old one with the incredible ROTTAY device. Finally, the price of the lock was very reasonable for so many features. The only difficulty is the instructions which are printed too small, ROTTAY please use a larger font!

Great keyless door lock with deadbolt. Easy to install and set up. Follow the instructions to create passwords and fingerprints and you will have no problems. A friend of mine also bought one after seeing mine. She is not so tech savvy and was able to do it herself. It's been a week now but as of now I definitely recommend it.

Very nice door lock that is easy to program. This door lock is well made and has a nice finish. It was packaged nicely to prevent any parts from getting scratched or damaged. The installation instructions are well written which makes installing and programming the door handle easy. The outside handle itself feels solid and the knobs feel good and don't seem cheap. The inside handle has some play or wobble but not bad, just noticeable. The screws that come with the handle are a good size to make me feel like the door is secure. The fact that it is customizable is very nice and allows it to be customized to different needs. You can have it auto lock, turn the beeps off or leave them on, have multiple codes and even add a code that can only be used once. If you follow the instructions it is very easy to program. I would keep the instructions for future programming. Overall a very nice electronic door lock that I am very happy with.

Works great. Order batteries. Installation was pretty easy and took maybe 15 minutes. It is a little easier if you have another person to hold the other side. Surprisingly, it was very easy to program the unlock codes and fingerprints and they work every time. I am very happy with not having a key but it does come with keys in case you need a spare.

Multiple options for access I've only had this product for a few weeks, but so far I haven't had any problems. It was pretty easy to install and program. I had trouble registering my fingerprint, but that may just be me. My other fingers work fine. What I like most about this product is that it offers three options for unlocking and they all work well. I'm in the process of ordering another one for a friend.

VERY easy to install in an existing deadbolt hole. This lock was very easy to install and fit over an existing deadbolt hole. I didn't have to drill at all, just remove the old deadbolt and put this in its place. It was also very easy to program and works perfectly.

I love it! It completely covered the area where I removed my old keypad. Make sure you are standing in front of your door and position your finger as you would standing with a package in your hand. A great lock. We bought this lock for our new shed to secure it. It is much easier to remember a code than keys. Installation was pretty easy. The mechanisms are very tight and work well. Selecting a code was easy. There are good instructions included. You can have it automatically lock every 30 seconds or when you turn the lock knob. You can also select multiple codes. This lock is going to be great!

Even when programmed to silent mode, it still beeps and wheezes when it locks the door. The fingerprint reader is pretty good. I've had this product for about a year now and it's holding up well. And it's still running on the original battery pack! In my experience, the accuracy of the fingerprint reader is pretty good. And you can store multiple fingerprints for multiple users. Pro tip: set it up with both your right and left hand fingerprint so you can use either hand if you're carrying a pile of groceries in the other! You also have the option to enter an access code and can add and delete codes as needed so you can give guests temporary access. This was a great little investment for our home.

Lock It's not easy to figure out how to change the first password! I still haven't! I paid for a warranty and I don't know how to activate it!

Well made security door lock. The door lock is well made and easy to install. However, the fingerprint reader does not work. I went through the fingerprint reader registration process four times, but the reader could not identify my fingerprint. I tried with two different fingers. There are no instructions for the error or solutions in the booklet. It finally worked on the fifth try.

Best purchase we ever made! Super easy to install and set up to add fingerprints. My finger doesn't always read easily, but my husband's does. So far it works perfectly. We love it and recommend it to everyone we know.

Best thing we bought. Very happy with this fingerprint keyless door lock. This is the best thing we have bought so far. We can use our fingerprint, a key or a code. A huge convenience for us. I love that we don't always have to carry a key with us.

Overall description is accurate, follow the installation instructions! I was intimidated by all the parts at first, but I followed the paper instructions carefully with no issues. There are definitely a few points you need to follow closely including installing the battery and the direction of the door lock. It took me 30 minutes because I took it slow and made sure to follow each step. Works exactly as described. Auto lock is off by default, you have to follow the instructions to turn it on. Fingerprint works great. Easy to program by following the included instructions. Don't know about battery life yet. Would be nice if there was a low battery warning.

Pretty easy to install, works well after a couple of weeks. Not much to say, only time will tell. It was easy to install and program. I have no use for the fingerprint reader at the moment, but will probably set it up at some point. Nice to have an extra key from my ring.

Amazing. I was a little skeptical that it might not be secure or not work! Oh my god it's amazing. The fact that I don't need a key but just reads my thumb print is incredible especially when it's dark outside. I bought two. One for my security gate and one for my front door and it's the best investment ever. Super secure. Shows if it's locked. Latch Just amazing and super easy to install.

It works very well. It is an excellent door lock, it works very well, it has not caused me any problems so far and it is not expensive, my house is the only one that has this type of insurance where I live, neighbors and friends I am shocked at how expensive and modern it looks but the truth is that for everything it offers it is not expensive and I have freed myself from having to carry keys around to enter my house and I am no longer afraid of being left outside.

No more keys! I love this thing. I haven't used a key since I installed it. Installation was quite a task for me as the opening in my door wasn't big enough. The only downside is that it didn't recognize my wife's finger properly until she added her thumb, but it has always worked well since then. Would recommend

Great Customer Service I just got the lock and was having some difficulty with the installation. I called customer service and was impressed with the help I received. The person I spoke to had me take pictures and send them to her while I fixed my issues. We were able to fix the problem and the lock is installed and working perfectly now. The lock looks great and programming was easy.

Challenge My husband installed it to replace our old doorbell with no problem. He set the codes with no problem but it didn't work out to lock it. So we looked at YouTube and it worked with no problem. Thank goodness for YouTube!

Does not recognize older fingers. Overall, I am pretty happy with this lock. It works well for my spouse and me. However, it absolutely does not recognize my 75 year old mother's fingerprints. I have three of these locks and the result is the same on all of them. No matter how many times we enter her fingerprints, they are not recognized to open the lock. She can get other biometric readers to work, but not these locks.

Month Update: I replaced my old deadbolt door lock with this one. I've never installed or replaced a lock before so I read everything. The instructions for a replacement deadbolt door lock weren't clear. Luckily it was clear on YouTube. I've had it for a week with no issues. I'll update if that changes. The update lock continues to work but today I tried using my finger, which is what I always use, and it wouldn't open. I just came back from swimming. I guess it didn't recognize my shriveled fingers and wouldn't accept my code after so many tries. Be careful with swim fingers.
