If you like "clicky" keys, get this! Plug and play. Easy to use. Nice feel in hand. I needed this because my gaming laptop doesn't have a 10 key numpad and I prefer 10 keys when working from the laptop.

Very good. It worked exactly as expected.

The number pad is great and has a fairly long cable so I can place it far away from where my computer is. The only thing I didn't like at first was the double 00 button instead of just having one big 0. It was annoying at first, but I quickly grew to love it when I had to type multiple zeros.

My son bought this for a game he plays. He used stickers to change some of the numbers, but it works perfectly for what he needed it for. It's a great addition to his computer.

ordered a laptop along with several accessories. This was one of them. I hadn't realized that the laptop I ordered had a 10 digit input built in. I am proficient with 10 digit input, which is why I bought it. I also had a chance to have it in the box before I returned it. It's one of those items that just feels nice when you're using it. Now that I've been using the 10 digit keys on the laptop, I may reorder it and use it instead of the laptop keys.

Some keyboards don't come with a number pad, but if you need a number pad in your life, then you should get this one. This really helps at work if you need to enter numbers. The nice clicky switches feel satisfying when they activate each time you press them. It makes typing really enjoyable. Although the keys do feel a bit thin and cheap. For the price, it's easy to overlook this.

All kidding aside, I bought this in February 2021, and at the time of writing this it's May 2024. For what it is a sub 20 keyboard, I think this thing is great. The "blue" switches they've used are "clicky" as I expected, and so there is positive feedback when pressing the keys I rarely type when I don't want to, and on the other hand I haven't had any issues with unresponsive keys. The RGB is blue, just blue, and you have three options: full blue, lower brightness blue, and off. The "feet" are pretty nice, it doesn't slide around too much, and with my desk setup I find it hard to move it unintentionally. The only other thing of note that I have: I use this in conjunction with a 60% keyboard due to available desk space, and while trying to play some games, toggling the "Num Lock" to access the arrow function of all 8426 keys doesn't always work, this might just be an isolated issue with something on my end but I wanted to point it out in case anyone else has this issue. This thing has really treated me well, and when I bought it my setup was all blue so the color didn't bother me, and if all I needed was blue I would definitely buy this one again.

I bought a TKL keyboard and realized I really missed the number pad. It works great. I really like the shortcut key for the calculator.

Exactly what I needed to work comfortably from home.

It was very easy to use and was a great price. I developed a Linux based kiosk display with no keyboard or mouse. I wanted to add user input capability. It was as simple as connecting the keyboard, automating the opening of a terminal, using xdotool to run a bash script, letting the script get a number from the user, and running another bash script with the same name to perform the display for 30 seconds, then returning to "normal display".

I wish key presses were silent, mouse clicks were silent, but the keyboard is not.

This number pad makes more sense than the ones included! That's it, no more full keyboards. From now on, always stand alone number pad. Calc button, button for Excel and programming, backspace and tab button. Blue lights and keys with a nice touch and click.

It works fine for what it is. Next time I'll buy the 10 key number pad. That's my fault, I thought I wouldn't mind having a separate one, but I don't.

By switching from a full sized keyboard to a tenkeyless model you save a lot of space, but I found that I couldn't enter numbers as quickly and accurately as I could on my old full sized keyboard. This fixes the problem while still saving me space I have this 10 key keyboard to the right of the mouse pad so it feels more natural to use. Plus you can move it around when not in use. I was worried that the USB cable wouldn't be long enough since it's not detachable but it was longer than expected and I was able to route the cable as I wish. The lights have 4 modes: off, low, medium, high toggled using the EscDel keys and it remembers the last mode when turned back on. This isn't perfect though as the layout didn't match the layout of my old keyboard so it will take a bit of getting used to… Quality build all plastic though. Has mechanical keys to match my keyboard.

Good: Plug and play on both of my laptops one Windows, one Linux. Great price. Bad: A bit light slides around on smooth surfaces. Needs some weight and soft rubber feet instead of the plastic ones provided. Key action is a bit light and bouncy, but acceptable for occasional use. Bottom Line: If your laptop doesn't have a number pad, like most do, and you occasionally need one for data entry or gaming, this one works well and you can't beat the price. I wouldn't use it for intensive data entry work, but if you're doing that kind of work, you should get a full keyboard with a number pad anyway. Five stars.

Just what I needed for class.

bought this for my laptop yes, I know there are larger models with number pads, but this is much easier and cheaper when I really just want a number pad. I actually wanted the cable to stop forgetting my number pad wherever I go something harder to do when it's strapped to me. At first I was annoyed because the layout didn't match the number pad on a regular keyboard. But of course I just had to get used to it. It really became a joy to use. The buttons physically push back nicely for a very smooth, safe, and reliable action. The extra buttons are also helpful when you get used to them I'm particularly a fan of the 00 button.

It's a really good product! I've bought it twice now so the moral of the story is that it's not waterproof but I haven't had any issues with it. It feels great and has the good response times that I want. The RGB looks pretty good and has enough functionality that it hasn't bothered me that regular numpads don't have a backspace button lol. Overall I would recommend this if you're looking for a numpad.

Well it worked plug and play, the calculator button is a nice feature and has exactly the layout I like, my only complaint is that the switches are terribly inconsistent in terms of sound and feel. The 0 feels hollow and mushy, while the 5 feels crisp and super solid with good aural feedback. I use Cherry MX Blues on a keyboard at home, and the keys that don't sound mushy or hollow sound just as good as the Cherry MX Blues. It works for what I need it for and I guess you get what you pay for.

use this for extra programmable buttons on games that support it. Unlike a couple of other products that claim to be mechanical keys, this one is actually a clicky blue switch. The backlight is blue. I wish there were other options, but I guess you can't have everything. I like the number keys to be on the left, not the right, so I use one of these with an 88 keyboard that doesn't have the right side number pad taking up the same space and I can have the number pad where I want it or not.

I bought this device to make it easier to enter data more quickly at the grocery store. It is very well built, a solid 10 key device, and comes with extra features I wasn't expecting the tab key.

I plugged it into my work computer and had no issues typing right away. I don't know if anyone else knew this, but you can use the other functions like the arrow keys when the num lock is off and the green light is off on the keyboard. It's a much better setup compared to the full size USB keyboard I had plugged into my computer previously, lol

I bought this as a macro pad to keep it separate from my main keyboard. It works exactly as it should. The build is pretty sturdy, which surprised me because I was expecting something flimsy at this price. The keys are a little hard to press, which I like. It's nothing fancy… it just works.

The whole piece seems to be well made and seems to be holding up well. My only complaint is that the calculator key opens new calculator instances instead of returning to the one you opened first and I have no idea how to reprogram it myself. Otherwise, it's an awesome tool!

bought an 87 key gaming keyboard with mechanical switches. Sadly, it doesn't come with the number pad, which I've grown accustomed to. This keyboard really fills that void. It's not as tall as my keyboard, but it works great. I have the USB slot to plug it in, so all is well in my digital world.

Great number pad to go with my weird ergonomic Kinesis keyboard

attached this to a Chromebook. I needed a number pad and for this purpose it works fine. The NumLock key doesn't seem to work and the NumLock light has never come on no matter what keys I try. So if you need the other functions of the keys like home, left, right, up, down, etc. then you'll probably be disappointed. This item avoids the flaws mentioned in reviews of other similar products the number pad works without messing up the Chromebook's keyboard and it has anti slip pads underneath so it doesn't slide around. It works well enough that I'm buying another one for the second Chromebook.

I bought this keyboard to use at work to enter numbers. I'm left handed so having the number pad on the left really helps. I love it! The only downside is that it's a bit noisy when pressing the keys.

This is a pretty solid 10 key keyboard. I use it at work to compliment a Kensis split keyboard. The blue switches have a strong tactile feel. The calculator hot key is really nice to have. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that sometimes the rubber feet aren't very good and allow it to slide around and this one is small, but the is smaller than a regular 10 key keyboard which can be confusing at first. Overall, it's a great product for the price!

I've been really impressed with this keyboard, especially for the price. I use the number pad quite a bit at work and didn't want to pay a lot for a standalone one especially since I already have one on my keyboard. I really like the blue switches and the key travel is perfect. The extra backlighting is also pretty handy. I guess the only complaints would be that the numbers could be a bit larger and a brighter shade of white.

This is the third numpad I've used with a small Win 10 tablet/keyboard that replaces a laptop. The old one always "hijacked" the detachable keyboard's numpad until I disengaged the num lock with the numpad. This was irritating, to say the least, and wreaked havoc on my accounting, spreadsheet, and calculator programs. This new numpad works fine, as did the original. The only thing I wish it had was a "00" key, a minor inconvenience.

Now, working at the table, I adapted the laptop keyboard to the usual desktop keyboard. A great advantage of using this device is the possibility of switching the additional keyboard to the calculator mode in fact, we have a full fledged office calculator. This is much more convenient than calling up the calculator on the screen and switching from the document window to the calculator window and vice versa. I really like everything. This is a large, quality, loud, and good sounding numeric keypad.

I use it to control Open Broadcaster on a computer that is far away from the broadcast position, as a wired remote for changing scenes and cameras. Compared to devices designed for live broadcast control, this one costs at least 100 less and works flawlessly for me.

The keys aren't exactly in the same position as the number pad on a standard full keyboard. And not bad for OSU either!

have one particular program that I don't use very often and it's a pain if you don't have a number pad. So I bought this thing. It's dirt cheap, as good as it gets, so I give it 5 stars. But I have to mention the weird stuff. 1. The packaging shows that it communicates with a wireless adapter. But there is no adapter, and of course you're not going to get a wireless device for this price. 2. There is a battery compartment. For a wired device? I'm not even going to try to open it. 3. There is an LED next to a battery icon. To show battery status which you don't need because this is a wired device? No, it's a NUM LOCK indicator. Which is nice to have, even if the label makes no sense. 4. Another weird package a photo inserted with a 000 key. There is no 000 key on the device or in any of the other photos. It's okay, I didn't need it anyway. It's strange, but I still recommend it.

I have a Kinesis Gaming split keyboard. The only complaint is that it doesn't have a number pad. I bought the Rottary because it had a good rating, the black with blue lighting goes with my main keyboard and fits perfectly on the side, not getting in the way. I'm happy with the mechanical keys.

didn't want to buy a full mechanical keyboard because it's too loud for when I'm taking notes in a meeting and trying to hear. But for when I'm doing calculations or entering data, the little mechanical "click" is really nice. And the lights on the keys are really fun too.

I had to remove the NumLock cover that is right above the 7 key as I kept accidentally pressing the NumLock key and turning it off. Other than that it's a good product.

This one is better than the last two I bought for the library. The keys are easy to press, meaning you don't have to put a lot of pressure when entering numbers.

I have a Corsair K70 at home with Cherry Mx Brown switches, but for the price, it is definitely a good buy because I must say the switches feel really good compared to my Corsair. Not only that, but it has Blue switches.

My work laptop doesn't have a number pad. This was a great option to fix that. It plugs in easily with USB and there are no issues getting online. I'll probably get a Bluetooth option next time to keep the cord out of the way.

had to replace a USB numpad that outlived several laptops. In 2019, you can get 2 types of numpads: 1. Extremely cheaply made 2. Stupidly expensive. Apparently numpads are being branded like they are the way of the dinosaurs because NO ONE is making a Bluetooth or wireless adapter backlit numpad for under 100. I can buy a couple wireless keyboard and mouse combo sets for less than that. Then, back to the wired ones, there are a dime a dozen flimsy membrane and ABS numpads that are cheap, until you add backlighting even single color and/or quality switches and then the price goes up exponentially. If I have to have a wired one, then I want backlighting and good switches. This numpad is very well made, solid, good LED lighting, with a decent layout and switches. The switches are loud. I wish Rottay would make it with a white backlight, but the blue one is nice. You can adjust the lighting method on/off/breathing but not the brightness.

It's a 10 key external number pad… I don't love it or hate it. I'm not very fast with it. The blue light and the clicking noise when you press a key aren't a big deal for me.

It's exactly what it says, mechanical number pad with blue switches. I'm not sure what kind of switches they are, but they feel and sound good. The keys are textured and basic, but don't seem to attract smudges. Overall, it's a very nice piece of equipment, it even has a calculator shortcut that opens the calculator. It works on Windows 10. I don't know if it will work with any other OS.

I have a Chromebook that doesn't have this type of number pad, and I often hit the wrong keys when they're lined up. It's very useful for budgeting and my statistics class.

At work I use a laptop that doesn't have a numeric keypad. This works great for adding one.

Back in December, I built myself a PC, but I had already bought my 60% keyboard before because I liked the compact size and frankly, I never expected to use any of the other keys. Upon turning on my PC, I noticed that I had to press the DEL key to enter the BIOS. There is a workaround for this, but at that point I started to feel regret. For a while, I stopped thinking about it until recently. I started playing Skryim and started making mods. For a certain mod, I need the numpad, but a 60% keyboard doesn't have it. I looked into buying one and found out that they were expensive, starting at 60 and something like that. Which is crazy considering I bought my keyboard for that price. That's when the regret kicked in again as I chose a 60% keyboard instead of a full one for a similar price. Surprisingly, I found this numpad and bought it when I saw the cheap price. It's also mechanical with blue switches, which is a plus. It really is plug and play, no need to mess around with any software. Overall, great value for the price! I put some keycaps on it to match my keyboard, and while I can't find a keycap for every key on this numpad, the basics are there.

I like everything about this keyboard except the loud "click" you hear when you press a button. Other than that, it's very useful for laptops without a numeric keypad.

I am an accountant and not having a numeric keypad on my laptops is a problem. I am still looking for the perfect numeric keypad, not one with fancy colors or gaming features etc, but one good for business.

This worked fine for me on an ACER CHROMEBOOK. It would be helpful to have a TAB key. It was a bit annoying having to use the TAB key from the main keyboard. But for the price, it worked fine. It slides around a bit on the table, but not so much that I can't use it.

Awesome!!! I was expecting to pay a lot more for this. The build quality is amazing! I use it for gaming. I mapped keys to the numpad in game. I can now use my right hand on the mouse and left for the control buttons. I'm right handed so it took some muscle memory to get the hang of it smoothly, but not too much. I just saved myself 200.00 by buying a G pad keyboard. There is no mistaking that when you press a key it "activates". Very impressed!

I bought a smaller keyboard because I wanted more desk space. I thought a cheap number pad would make my desk layout more flexible. It works well and is inexpensive, but I should have bought a better one because I can really tell the difference with my keyboard. Bottom line: If you want a cheap number pad for occasional use, this one is fine. But if you are a power user, then you probably want to buy a better one.

This is a great tool for data entry and playing certain games. The only thing I didn't like was that it didn't sit flat and it wobble around a bit, so I had to shim one of the rubber feet to level it out.

Now, with distance learning, my son is doing a lot of math work online. Having a number pad is very helpful, especially on timed tests. It is sturdy and works exactly as expected.

Works great, just plug it in and use it. I use it with my HP laptop, it's so much easier than typing with one finger at a time searching for numbers on a small laptop keyboard. If you use the number keys often, you'll find this helpful!

My keyboard doesn't have a number pad, so this option was perfect. I needed the backlight and it was very nice.

Yes! The numbers work for Chromebook. I don't use the features so I haven't tried them, but I'm very glad I found an external keyboard for Chromebook. The USB cable is plenty long, I don't mind that it's not wireless, and I love that it doesn't need batteries. One improvement: the backspace key should be on the top right, then the and keys could be moved down to make it look like a "normal" keyboard. It's a minor issue considering the effort that went into finding a working keyboard!

Easy USB connection. Works perfectly. Sticks well to the desk and doesn't slide.

It seems sturdy, does its job, and there's something to be said about the old fashioned rattling sound. My only complaint is that it's easy to accidentally hit the Num Lock key while using it.

Good quality number pad. A nice addition if you have a good quality shortened keyboard and want to add a number pad that's located somewhere else. I've positioned it so that if I extend my arm, it's just the right distance away. The number 5 in the center has a tactile mark, so it's easy to line up and type without looking, while resting my wrist on the table. Pros: Uses real mechanical switches, keys feel like they should, with satisfying clicks. Plug and play setup for Windows 10, I didn't have to fiddle with drivers. Rubber feet on the bottom keep it from sliding around. Cons: It would be better if the number pad was a bit heavier. I don't need it to be portable. It doesn't have rear legs that flip out to adjust the angle not a problem for me, but it's something that's often present. The brightness of the blue backlit color is not adjustable
