bought this device to inspect the inside of an airplane cylinder. So far I have used it once and the resolution of the camera is good. You can adjust the brightness and the clarity is good. The only problem I have had so far is that the cable is too long and cannot be rolled up. The instructions are not adequate and are mostly illustrations. There is no information on how to charge it and if there is a DC adapter or what the power of the DC adapter should be. I think we can just plug the USB cable into your computer and charge it. I will update once I use it more. So far so good.

At first I was a little concerned about the quality of the telescope I received. For the price, it is second to none. The snake movement is fully functional and the video quality is acceptable for the intended use. No complaints.

have to say I didn't have high expectations when I purchased this product, but I ended up being quite pleased. The case is great quality and comes with everything I need to check everything out. The modern USB C charger and 32GB micro SD card are convenient for charging and storing/transferring photos. I can easily check my dryer vent to make sure there is no lint buildup that could cause a fire. I was able to get every penny back for the peace of mind I got.

bought this device after trying the non rotating dual camera viewfinder. I hope this device has dual camera capabilities. The scrolling feature is not as easy to use as the manual says, but it works.

It works great out of the box. I wanted a model with a wide field of view so I could see things up close and far away relatively clearly. I chose one with an articulating mount so the field of view would be wider and it would be easier to maneuver in tight spaces. So far I have used it to inspect my wife's car and find gaps under the house with great results. As a retired mechanic and DIY enthusiast, this will help me a lot in my work as I get older. It takes a little getting used to using the articulating controls, but that's to be expected. If you use the articulating controls to maneuver in tight spaces, you will need to remember to use them when you take the camera apart to avoid damaging it, so you will need to be patient when using them.

This is my second telescope. The first was a different design with a removable head, but the mount didn't quite fit. I really like the removable tip and the second camera for the side view. I learned that you have to be very careful which side is up when putting the camera in, otherwise the navigation is not so intuitive. The photos and videos are very nice, although I did occasionally see a few frames in the video with some errors. This wasn't a big enough problem to require replacing the unit, and was probably just due to the cheap and slow micro SD card. The included video shows the roller on the sliding door bracket breaking, with the bearings clearly visible. The door was very difficult to move. Knowing the problem allowed me to order new rollers before removing the door, greatly reducing downtime.

The image quality is clear and the articulating end is very convenient. It's a nice upgrade after using a cheaper model and having to install a weird app on your phone.

I like the removable base, but sometimes it is difficult to fully attach it to the camera handle, you may just need to retract it a little. The device stopped working after the third use, but customer service was great and fixed the problem.

purchased this product to test the fuel nozzle on my car as something had fallen off and I needed to make sure there was no delay when refueling. I was a little concerned about putting electronics near flammable liquids and vapors. I had to do some research to see if it would work. Since the unit is water and oil proof and has no exposed wires, I tested it with a small amount of gasoline in a container to make sure it wouldn't catch fire. After successfully testing, I tried it on my car and was able to put the camera in the tank. The only problem I had was that the first 6 strands of the camera cable were not very flexible. It was very stiff and it made a few clicks when I tried to get it around the tight bend of the fuel nozzle on the tank. Nothing seemed broken and the camera worked fine during and after the break, maybe it was just the plastic tube? It fits perfectly and the flexible controls on the camera were very helpful in guiding the cable and seeing all angles. Overall it was very easy to use and did the job. The screen is very good quality and the light is strong enough to see in the dark. I will definitely use it on other projects!

We decided to get a tool like this after buying a car that was making strange engine noises. It really helped us diagnose the engine and transmission from the inside out without having to take them apart.

This steerable endoscope is fairly reasonably priced. Its sweet spot is about 10 12 cm, but the depth of field is more than sufficient for inspecting walls and machinery. There is only one thing stopping me from giving it a full five stars. The maneuverability is sideways along the long axis of the 16×9 image, not up and down. I would have preferred it to be up and down on the short optical axis. Yes, you can fix this by rotating the endoscope 90 degrees, but it would be better if the viewing angle was more restricted with an additional axis of movement. The up and down, by the way, are consistent with the medical endoscopes I am used to. I don't know how this could be fixed? The camera module in the steerable head can be rotated slightly.

This camera is awesome. You can see the cylinder walls, valves, glow plugs, and head gaskets. The end of the camera is wide but can fit through a spark plug or diesel injector hole. You can easily take pictures with it. Cons: The end of the camera is wide and the latch that holds the screen is a little loose. Other than that, it's worth it.

Before I could undertake an expensive repair, I needed to determine if my pistons, valves, and cylinders had any internal damage. With this borescope, I was able to determine that everything was fine. Not only were the pistons and valves in good shape, but the cylinder bores had numerous shadows. I could see carbon deposits on the pistons and valves, confirming that the oil was set too rich. The value of being able to rotate the camera 180 degrees to view the valves cannot be overstated.

The connector is easy to adjust and works great. The cable length is perfect for what I need. The light is very bright.

Okay, let's be honest. It's no fun having to spend more money on expensive tools to diagnose a brand new engine that you just installed… but I didn't have an oscilloscope yet, and I knew I would need one sooner or later. I bought a scope that didn't move and only gave me one view, which was nice, but didn't help me when it came to determining if a valve was bent or properly seated. So I needed a high quality product that would ship the next day. So I chose this brand. I closed my eyes, clicked buy, and waited until the next day to check my cylinders. Overall, this absolutely incredible tool gives you the flexibility to see the exact information you need when trying to figure out a valve problem on your engine and determine if it's a bad seat or another bent valve. Not only did he tell me the shop made a mistake, he also told me the valve they were using was too small so there was no compression. This tool saved my ass and paid for itself the first time. It's amazing. Don't hesitate, buy it.

What can I say? This telescope works exactly as advertised. The articulation is smooth and easy to control with the dial on the side of the screen. The ability to freeze the screen, take pictures, and record videos is also a great feature. I was surprised that the screen comes with a 32GB MicroSD card for storage. If I had any complaints, it would be that you have to remove the screen from the handle to put it in your pocket, the screen to handle lock can be a little tight, and the cable has to be relatively straight for the articulation to work. It can be a little fiddly to handle due to the long cable. It just takes a little getting used to. I have recommended this product to several mechanic friends and would not hesitate to buy it again.

bought this mainly to check cylinder walls and see where my train went off the rails in a tunnel. So far it has helped me fix my lawn mower and solved a major low compression problem. My car was leaking coolant. It also helped me solve a hose problem when I was trying to find the hose. It has a nice bright LED light that can be dimmed. The image quality is also excellent.

This is great for checking areas where you don't want to damage drywall, pipes, etc. I use it to check for mouse traps under my patio. I want to make sure that after I catch the mouse, it doesn't come into the house with the food. This means I don't have to tear down half the stairs on my patio! I gave the battery life 3 stars because I don't use it often enough to drain the battery. This is a tool I will use multiple times a year, so batteries aren't the first thing on my mind. If I see it draining quickly, I will update. But so far I have used it for about 2 hours and the battery indicator hasn't budged. I like that you can take pictures, flip the image, etc. For the price, you can't go wrong.

I have larger drain inspection cameras but they don't work well in small drains and tight bends. This product is perfect for getting into those drains and seeing what's going on. It's easy to use and the screen clarity is excellent.

originally bought this device to check my air vents. We recently bought a house and I was wondering if it was time to clean them. Well, this little device has certainly proven that it needed cleaning. Pros: The screen and camera are clear. The camera light is bright and can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. You can rotate the camera 180 degrees if you are looking at something upside down while looking at the screen. You can pause the video, take a snapshot, or record the entire video and play it back at any time. I am sure that now that I have it and understand its features, I will find many uses for it. Cons: I heard a clicking sound when I rotated the camera one way, and I can no longer rotate it in either direction. One of the directions still works, so it is not a big deal for me. Overall, this is a great buy.

It appears to be better quality than expected and is reasonably priced. It was used to test the condenser tube sheets on a 650 ton centrifugal chiller. The endoscope was inserted into the machine through the 5/8" drain port.

have been looking at borescopes for a while and decided to purchase this one. Shipping and delivery were fast. It came in a very nice ziplock bag with plenty of room for the borescope. I have used it several times to inspect parts of my wheel loader and other vehicles. It works great and I have been able to inspect things I could not see before. The borescope can be rotated and adjusted to fit most situations. It has both video and image capabilities. I can not say enough good things about it! It is portable and easy to use.

I like to rotate the cable to view certain areas without having to bend it and lose sight of the area I need to view.

I'm glad I chose the articulating telescope with camera instead of the one with the phone clip. The push cord works best when you can adjust the other end of the maze to push it over or through obstacles. It comes with an SD card installed so you can take pictures and review them. The adjustable light is nice. The 5 foot length is long enough to run over a car engine. I find it great for checking out hard to reach places or looking at something other than the engine itself. The camera is enough to take pictures of my entire garage. Honestly, I thought I would be disappointed with this piece of junk, but it's not junk, I'm very impressed and very happy with it.

was looking for an articulating endoscope and I bought this brand's endoscope with a 1.7 meter long cable. This product is self contained and consists of two main parts. The screen and the portable camera with separate connectors connect easily. You don't need to connect your phone to this device. The device comes charged, so you can use it right out of the box to see if it works properly. The zoom and LED light are very nice features. The product also includes a nice carrying case to protect the endoscope when not in use. Another nice feature of this endoscope is that it comes with an attachable hook and magnet, so if you drop something in a hard to reach place, you can pick it up using the hook or magnet. The swivel head rotates 180 degrees, which is very useful for looking for something you dropped. I hope in the future they will give customers the option to purchase the portable camera with connector separately so they can purchase a longer cable if needed. DC

My husband loves it, the camera is very good quality, the screen is bigger than others and he loves that it comes in a very nice box. He uses it in the workshop and also at home when he needs to fix something!

Then I heard a cracking sound coming from inside the head. I then removed one of the spark plugs and checked it with an oscilloscope. The picture was very clear and when I removed the head I could barely see the crack with the naked eye. I would definitely buy this again.

have been looking to purchase a new borescope but have been waiting to find one that meets all of my needs. I wanted a unit with a long, strong, flexible cable, 1080P image quality, and the ability to move the camera wherever I wanted. This unit ticks all of those boxes and is a great value for the price. I removed the dash from my truck to replace a broken blend door and the heater and evaporator core. When I put everything back in the truck, a screw fell out of the dash vent and I could hear it spinning as I drove. After much searching, I was able to easily find the screw and remove it using the magnetic mount that came with the borescope. The rotating head is a great feature and works perfectly. The camera itself is very easy to use and has a long battery life. My only complaint is that the camera always displays the wrong date no matter how many times I change the date. This really isn't a big deal, but I wanted to mention it. I would still 100% recommend this endoscope.

While changing the oil in my Jeep I noticed metallic sparks coming from the oil filter and oil pan. I panicked and wondered what was wrong with the flat head camshaft, the lifter, the transfer case or something else? This borescope saved me a lot of time and money. I purchased it and two days later I was able to insert it into the timing cover, cylinder and intake manifold to inspect the camshaft. I discovered it was the transfer case that meshes with the camshaft gear without having to disassemble the engine. The light is bright and the camera angle of the borescope allows you to get into tight spaces. The ability to change the brightness of the light is also helpful for looking at objects up close. The camera movement takes a little getting used to, but that's normal when the camera is upside down and hidden in the motor. The image is great and the autofocus works very well. The controls are easy to use. This is a solid product and definitely worth the money compared to "commercial" brands. I would recommend it for the price and features.

It met all my expectations. High resolution, good focus, good image, good color. Easy tip movement, wide range of motion. Admittedly, it is difficult to know where to look, but I think it just takes practice. I bought it to find a coolant leak on the back of a Toyota engine. Mission accomplished. I think it will be a useful tool.

This telescope is amazing. The screen is big, clear, and very easy to use. My favorite part is the detachable camera. It only pans on one axis, but that's not a big deal. Just rotate the camera cable to pan the other axis. I've used this on so many projects I hope I had done it years ago. I needed it to run speaker wire through the walls of my house for a new surround sound system. This telescope was a lifesaver. Since the head/camera is detachable, I was able to run wiring, junction boxes, and wall studs without any issues. I even found an existing coax in the wall that my builder forgot to plug into the outlet. I highly recommend this telescope for many home projects such as electrical, plumbing, drywall repair, and any automotive related project where you won't be able to see in very tight spaces.

The scope is nice. When I look inside the engine cylinder, I can clearly see all the surfaces. The removable head allows me to look through the scope to the hole where the spark plug is inserted. The image is very clear. I don't know how long it will last, but for now I highly recommend it.

So far so good. I had to inspect between the walls because there was a small leak in the ceiling. While I could drill a 5 foot hole in the ceiling, it was much easier to drill a small hole and look inside. I found out that the leak was caused by a bad toilet seal. I wanted to ask how you determined a bad toilet seal without looking at the seal or seeing the leak with your eyes. I was able to see the leak with this borescope and the hinge feature was essential for this task. I think without the hinge feature I would have had a hard time finding the right angle to see the leak, but with the hinge feature I was able to quickly find the leak, inspect it, and make a one time repair without any drywall work. I didn't have to repair a 5 foot hole in the drywall, which saved me time and was worth the purchase. The graphics are great and you can turn your head to look in different directions which is cool.

This is the best description. The only improvement would be to rotate it 360 degrees or roll it up to use it, but that is not possible.

This seems like a good tool and it works well. I used it to check for a blockage in the heater duct that runs through the heater vent in my van. A mouse had taken up residence in it.

This scope is perfect for my needs and the articulating sight is its best feature. The only downside is that it is not as stable as other scopes I have used, so it can tip over easily at longer distances. This is a minor inconvenience and most articulating scopes probably have this drawback. With a little practice and effort, I was able to overcome this problem.

I used this product to inspect vents. It worked great and the removable end made it easy to take clear pictures. I plan on using it to inspect some drains and I think it will give me a good idea of the condition of the pipes without having to dig.

This is a great tool if you can't see past xy and z. The camera is about 1/4" wide, small enough to mount on a wall, etc. I have another telescopic camera, but it's not mobile being able to move the camera around is a big help. I'm sure I'll use this camera for many purposes.

bought this device to solve a bat problem, or just a bat that found a super secret way into my house. I think it might help figure out how to get in, and even though I haven't figured it out yet, it's a cool device. Good picture quality, bright light on the end, and can record video. Reasonably priced. No complaints!

The endoscope works very well. Easy to use. The head movement is smooth. The image quality on the screen is quite good, but the captured images and videos are also good when viewed on a computer. It is not a tool you need all the time, but when you need it, it is the only tool that does the job.

I've only used it twice, but the images are clear.

hope I had a camera that would allow me to get into tight spots, but it feels more like a cable that you have to push rather than twist to get where you want to go. However, the camera takes great pictures and can rotate the camera left to right or up and down depending on the orientation of the cable. It would be even better if the camera could rotate in any direction, not just 180 degrees. It comes with a fully charged battery. I've used it a few times and it's always easy to charge.

If you need to see beyond your reach, this tool is perfect for you. The images are clear and bright, and the range is excellent. Plus, this tool is very cost effective.

was very impressed with this product. The image quality is surprisingly good. The screen is nice. The camera can focus both up close and far away and the image quality is decent. The lighting is very bright and the contrast is handled very well with some bright highlights up close. The articulation feature is very useful. I wouldn't buy an endoscope without the articulation feature. In fact, it can rotate 180 degrees, giving you a 360 degree field of view. As long as there is enough space. I haven't used the SD card feature to take pictures or videos. I imagine it would be useful in some situations, like home inspections. Attaching the screen to the endoscope is easy and intuitive. The overall construction is very good. The endoscope is made of metal and the accessories and screen are made of plastic. The plastic seems to hold up to a drop or two. The only thing to be aware of is that the lens cover seems to be loose and starting to fall off, so it needs to be checked between insertions. I would recommend this product.

We have a brand name endoscope. It's crap compared to this one. I had no idea how good an endoscope was until I bought this one. Are you satisfied? Very satisfied! I'm buying one to put in my home studio!

Compact and versatile endoscope. The cable length is excellent. It also allows access to tight spaces and takes nice macro shots. The battery life is decent. You can freeze and lock the recording, but you cannot view the captured images on the LCD screen. To view the images, you need to download the mini SD card to your computer. It comes with a mini SD card, but there is no adapter to charge a PC or laptop. The cable showed signs of external wear after about 10 hours of use.

The image quality is excellent and appears well done.

It works great and also comes with a hook and magnet. I use it mainly for plumbing and automotive work. The live view is very clear, but the video recording is not as clear see the demo video. For the price, it is a good investment. Note: Do not use when the wheel is wrapped.

The swivel head is the reason I kept this part and returned the other one. It helped me with wall issues and the swivel head makes troubleshooting much easier.

This product is ready to use right out of the box, including taking pictures. This scope comes with an SD card already installed, which is great. The carrying case is well designed and allows me to store the scope neatly without it getting crumpled. I love this flexible feature. It allowed me to clearly see my progress when removing a worn oil pan bolt inside my motorcycle. Even a few drops of oil didn't seem to bother it. I highly recommend this scope to amateur mechanics and even professionals.

I bought this to inspect hard to reach parts in automotive applications that can't be found with a simple endoscope. It's inexpensive and works well. One advantage is that it starts up quickly and doesn't require a smartphone to view it. Photos can be saved to an SD card and transferred to a computer if needed.

bought this camera for work. The cable itself is stiff and holds a good angle when bent, but when I used the knob to rotate the camera it started to spin freely and now the viewfinder won't move. I had high hopes for this camera as it was recommended to me by other techs but was quickly disappointed.

The main reason we purchased this product was to find a leak in our church. The ability to rotate the probe tip was essential for this task. We were able to find the main leak, but the coil length was a little shorter than needed to find other leaks. The image quality is excellent and the LED light on the tip is bright enough to see dark rafters. It is easy to use and install.

First of all, this is not my first endoscope. Ultimately, it is a viable alternative to endoscopes that require Bluetooth or WiFi to connect the endoscope to your phone. Since this device is completely self contained, there are no interruptions or poor image quality. It offers clear and bright image quality, and I like the removable camera head. The articulating feature allows it to bend into corners and easily look around. If you are looking for a good quality and affordable endoscope, this brand of industrial endoscopes is a great value.

This product has proven to be very useful. I am an HVAC technician who was looking for a new borescope to help with heating and air conditioning equipment. The articulation feature on this camera is fantastic and has proven to be very helpful in identifying problems. Also, since the camera is at an angle to the pivot point, you no longer have to move the end of the camera to areas you can't see. All you have to do is press a button and the camera will move itself and find the spot you are looking for. Highly recommended.

This product was a breeze to unbox and install. It was also flexible enough to fit over one of my engine's cylinders when I noticed a crack in the cylinder wall. This saved me a lot of time and effort because I didn't have to take it apart to look for the problem. I hope the cylinder head was multi directional, but I knew before I bought it that it wasn't, so I can't fault it.

The lighting and depth of field on this endoscope are amazing compared to the first one I bought many years ago. You can actually see what you need to see. The flexible tip and image change buttons are awesome. I will never have to go to the hospital for an expensive colonoscopy again. Haha. Disclaimer: This is a joke for anyone serious. One more thing. As others have said, the filter does not fit properly on the handle. I had to file the bayonet very carefully and apply some dry lube to get it to fit properly and lock into place.

bought this product to check if my dishwasher was securely mounted. I used it to confirm that my kitchen vent was securely mounted to the outside wall. Then I spent an hour checking all the little nooks and crannies that always bothered me: what's behind the wall? Is my outside faucet dripping slowly? Etc. The Work Washer is a must have. A great tool.

This telescope was a Christmas gift from my wife and was on my "hope list". I am building an experimental aircraft and working on the aircraft engine. It is a used engine so I wanted to assess the condition of the cylinders and valves, especially the exhaust valves. This telescope and camera provide amazing detail. I can see the valve faces and edges very clearly, as well as the polishing pattern on the cylinder walls when the engine was new. The articulating feature allows the camera to easily swivel over the valves to capture and evaluate images. The oil pan was removed from the engine allowing me to position the camera over the camshaft area. I was very pleased to see no corrosion on the cams or lifters. Please note that I did not date stamp the equipment before taking these images. I was so excited to see what I could do! I borrowed a friend's telescope and put it on my hope list. The images weren't very clear, so I'm looking for a better telescope.

bought this endoscope to find missing screws on my motorcycle. With the endoscope, it only took me 10 minutes to find the screws that I used to spend 2 hours looking for. This is a great tool that saves a lot of time when you need to get into tight spaces. The controls are easy to use and the image is clear and sharp. This device is great for use behind walls. With my old endoscope model I could see well, but was limited by the alignment of the lens to the endoscope cable. In tight spaces or when moving long distances, I sometimes couldn't see very well because the camera wasn't pointed in the best direction. This mobile endoscope illustrates this frustration very well. There is a knob on the handle that you simply turn back and forth to move it 180 degrees in the desired direction. The buttons are very easy to use and are similar to the buttons on my son's remote control car. The image quality is very good and the menu options are easy to understand at a glance.

received this telescope today, haven't used it yet but setup was easy and settings were easy to adjust. The image quality is good and you can choose between 1080p or 720p. It comes with a USB C for charging and a few accessories, as well as a nice carrying case with an SD card. The cable seems sturdy enough and the adjustable camera head seems equally sturdy. The light has 3 brightness modes and can be turned off. Overall it seems to work well for my needs as I've tried it with different size motors. I'll update my review if I run into any issues after using it.

I work in HVAC and use all sorts of things. I have had this camera for about a year now and I am very happy with it compared to my previous cameras. I was very excited when I first got it. Even though I was very careful I lost a connection very quickly and today it is completely broken with no signal. This camera has really helped me out, I just hope it lasted a little longer.

More impressive than I thought it would be. I was able to use it to check the valves on an interference engine after a timing belt broke. Slide the camera in, rotate it 180 degrees and check the valves. It comes with all sorts of accessories: hooks, mirrors and magnets. It has an SD card already installed to record pictures and videos. Great product for the price. Works better than expected. I was able to install it in the spark plug hole and rotate the combustion chamber to see both valves. The combustion chamber is very good quality and you can even see the cross pattern on the cylinder.

So I lost a carburetor nut and was worried it would slip into the intake manifold. I knew it was a rookie mistake and a rag would save me. At this point I was ready to remove the intake manifold to see where it went, but my wife suggested using a bore gauge. Why didn't I think of that? Using the gauge I was able to determine that the nut was on the 8 cylinder intake valve. The connecting rod helped it through the intake manifold and the magnetic attachment allowed me to remove the nut. Although I will never use this again, I definitely will, but it is still a great purchase. 5 stars

The image quality on the LCD screen is very good. The light from the camera is very bright even in a small space. I can take pictures on the screen. The reel stays where I put it, which is not convenient. There are places I can't reach.

Suitable for the automotive industry. Detects cable damage, checks connections, etc. Works perfectly.

Since pushing the cable is really the only influence you have on the position, the further the head is away from you, the harder it is to see what you want. This is why the condyle is so useful for being able to "look around" to see what's going on. If I had a wand, I would definitely put a fisheye lens on it, because you often get stuck in "tunnel vision", so the field of view is limited and it's hard to keep perspective. This also applies to the articulating head, because it only articulates "left and right", which means that the position of the cable inserted into the hole is different. But it's still much better than any other telescope I've tried so far.

I bought this just for the head gasket, which works great. Images of close objects are sharp. Overall, a great purchase.

find this camera much more convenient than a wired camera connected to your phone. The 1.5m cable is long enough for most uses. It comes with a case, a screen and a micro SD card. It is very easy to use and very light.

Connects reliably. The picture and light are bright and good enough to see everything you need. The only downside is that the probe is thick so it doesn't fit in tight spaces. It's not very long so you can't get very deep into a pipe and the two way connector versus a four way connector means you often have to twist the cable to get it moving. I'm using this to replace a genuine 25k scope and it will do 75% of your needs just as well. If it breaks, buy a new one. The one in the picture broke because I left it out in the rain. I'd buy a replacement.
