Works great, would recommend 10 out of 10 times.

It's not the most sophisticated OBD scanner, but it works well. It has saved me a lot of money on diagnostic fees as it allows me to read codes at home and troubleshoot problems before going to the mechanic. I always keep it in my glove box!

I purchased this item after having issues with my vehicle not starting. It's a great tool to find out what codes your vehicle is "throwing" when the check engine light or other light comes on. It's the same thing they use at AutoZone without the code printing. You can also use it even if your vehicle has no issues. It plugs right under the dash and is almost fool proof. Once you know the code, you can look it up online to see what's going on and see if it's something you can fix yourself or if you need to go to the shop.

This product helps me a lot, especially since I want to start getting more tools. It's affordable and well, I've tried it. I've been to Kum and Go and it works. I've used more expensive ones at auto shops and this one will do pretty much the same thing for getting basic information.

It will help you estimate the repairs to the vehicle and decide where to take it. Of course, Firestone required that we be charged for doing the same thing, but it helped us make a decision about the reasonableness of the repairs.

This simple device will save you money by checking the condition of your car's sensors before you take the emissions test especially in California. It seems like they won't tell you that the car has failed until after the test, but they might as well do a diagnosis before then. So don't play along. Get one of these and check the sensors before you take the emissions test. I wish they had better instructions. Youtube is your friend.

had to return it because it didn't arrive by 8am overnight, it arrived in the afternoon and it was the last day my vehicle was under manufacturer's warranty. So I had to drive to the dealership to get it checked out before they closed. But I did plug it in once just to check it out in case I needed to buy one later. I would definitely buy this one if I needed to. It has more buttons than others in the price range. It also has a nice color screen, not just numbers and letters, not sure that matters but it can't be worse than the black and white ones with no images on the screen. As soon as I plugged it in it instantly turned on and was ready for me to choose what I wanted to do.
