When you're fishing inside a wall or around a motor, you'll have to keep twisting the cable to determine which side is up. That's to be expected. Unfortunately, the controls are primarily labeled for video playback to switch between side/front camera or control lighting, you'll have to mash buttons like you're playing Street Fighter. Eventually, you'll find the view you're looking for it's just an odd layout. Still, the screen is clear, the cable is flexible and controllable, and the camera holds up well while fishing in otherwise inaccessible areas.

Overall I like this scope, it is a very useful tool. The image is pretty good, I just wish it would focus a little further out than it does. I used it to look inside an engine and it was very useful for my needs. The price was very good for the build quality of the unit.

It's not the best picture quality and it's hard to see in direct sunlight. But for the price I can't complain. I can see what's behind a wall to check for studs, wires, and pipes before making large holes or cutting. Indoors and out of direct sunlight, it gets the job done. For the few times I actually need it, it's totally worth it. It comes with a bunch of accessories that I haven't tried yet. Carrying bag to keep it clean. Battery lasts a long time. I haven't had one die on me yet.

Fast operation. No additional buttons. Everything is intuitive and understandable. Cable of good length. I hope it will last a long time.

This is a really good borescope camera. I'm working on home remodeling projects lately and somehow I put up the drywall, painted the wall, and prepped the bathroom sink. The moment I turned on the water, I realized I hadn't turned on the shutoff valve yet. So I figured I need to cut the drywall so I'd have an easy access panel for future service, but I don't want to cut in a wrong position and into all the PEX pipes behind the drywall. So I bought this borescope to help me pinpoint where a perfect cut would be for me. It did its job great and is easy to use, but the only thing is that the screen doesn't incorporate the high resolution or they don't make a 4k camera for the borescope. If it was a 4k camera, it would be great for the wider and clearer view.

This device has saved me a lot of money on several applications. I use it regularly. It is a great value and excellent value for money.

didn't expect it to be this good. Fantastic video looking through pipes, and the lighting is excellent. The long cable is stiff enough that you can control the camera on the end even when you feel like you're wedged into a dark, tight spot. It does its job well. The only negative is the little hook that comes with it to attach it to the end. It's VERY thin metal and bends way too easily, so if there's any resistance it just bends and whatever you were trying to hook onto slips off. Basically, it's useless. I'm guessing the other little things that go on the end will be just as bad, since they're all made of the same kind of thin metal. But if you think of that little accessory bag as a free gift, you won't worry about it. The telescope itself is actually pretty cool. It holds a charge for a long time, too.

I used it to check if the sump pump discharge pipe was clogged and it worked like a charm… screen and a bunch of features like rotating the image and increasing the brightness… also has a magnetic end for dropped bolts or tools if you work on cars… handy tool to have

The image is high resolution and very well lit. The display screen is nice and large. The main camera's viewing angle is excellent and there are two side cameras which I haven't needed so far. The camera cable seems durable. It does tend to get stuck if you have to make a lot of turns. Attaching it to some fishing tape or whatever else you're putting on the pipe would help get it into the pipe. I was able to attach mine to the outer casing of a Ridgid Flex Shaft tool with a couple strips of tape.

It's a great product for the price. There are so many potential uses for this tool. You can check to see what may be clogging a drain, investigate where a leak may be coming from, look behind or under a heavy piece of furniture… the list goes on. I highly recommend it!

Works fine, could be a little firmer. The wire bends easily, but overall it works. Only complaint is that it needs to be a little firmer.

This is the second scope I ordered. I returned the first one because the cable was stiff like a high tensile wire. This one is still a bit stiff, but flexible enough to work with. The images are clear and sharp. It does require a memory card to save the images. For some reason I thought it came with one.

I had a problem with my drain and I didn't know what was clogged so I used this scope to see what was clogged and the little hook that came with it allowed me to get it out. My favorite kit.

This worked wonders to help inspect irrigation lines in the yard. I was losing pressure in the line and wasn't sure if a pipe was broken or maybe crushed. Using this camera was very easy and within a couple of minutes, I was able to pinpoint where I had a clog in the pipe. This saved me a lot of time and money because I would have had to pay an hourly rate for a plumber to perform this same test on multiple lines to find the break. I can't wait to use this again on a summer plumbing project.

It's a very handy device! The handheld unit is lightweight and easy to control. The cable is quite long and very stiff to hold its shape. The two cameras are very handy and the controls allow you to rotate the image for easy orientation. Highly recommended!

This endoscope works great. It really does its job and helps me find hard to find places. The light is bright and the camera has good resolution. It's worth it!

It really helps when working on the car.

thought I had a clogged drain and wanted to get it through a trap but couldn't. I have since used it to check interior wall cavities before cutting drywall to avoid pipes and wires and have been pleased with its performance. It starts up quickly and is ready to go in seconds. I keep it in a zip lock bag so it doesn't get tangled in the drawer.

This product produces an excellent image in plenty of light. I have used it to look inside a plasterboard wall, saving me from having to cut out part of the wall. I have tried the iPhone endoscope attachment and it is much better as it is ready to use as soon as you grab it.

It has good image quality.

I bought this camera to see the hard to reach areas around the engine bay of a Jaguar convertible with a V12. The engine bay is packed with wires, hoses, gadgets and the engine of course so it's hard to see in and around everything. With this little camera I can see all the nooks and crannies and the best thing is how clear the picture is. I give this product a thumbs up!

for the price i was a little worried but it works. Used to inspect engine parts, cooling system etc. Very happy with the side view setup as well as the regular view, gives very good pictures, camera placement is not too bad, you can bend the cable slightly to get into corners, pull the cable in or out to get a good view, well worth the money for my use.

The device is incredibly easy to use just turn it on and the monitor displays sensor information. It's perfect for tight spaces that you can't reach by hand. While the three tools for picking up objects are helpful, their effectiveness varies. While the screen isn't high resolution, it's enough to find small objects. For the price, it's a good device and, all in all, it's a handy tool.

The image looks grainy and doesn't work if you move it too fast. You have to move it very slowly if you're looking around in an area or it gets distorted.

The brightness of the camera light can be adjusted and it also has focus and zoom functions. The device has a long standby time, making it useful for both professional applications and home use.

This has been a life saver working on my cars. I don't have to take everything apart to look at a component. I work in HVAC and this has saved me tons of time. I no longer have to take the evaporator coil panels off the air conditioner to check the evaporator coil! I just stick this scope in and the picture is super clear! So, it takes some getting used to, but it will allow you to reach all the areas that you can't. You're still learning, but you have to play around with it to focus, but when you do, you'll be glad you figured it out.

This was an amazing purchase for us. It has been used in attics, sewer lines, ducts, and even a bee nest in the walls. The view is crisp and clear.

great device for looking into small spaces or tricky corners. Initial charge took less than an hour and then it was ready to use no app downloads or complicated instructions required. The screen has both color and black and white modes, and is a decent size. The image has a good resolution. The cable is fairly stiff, so it should go where you want it to with a little practice. There are 2 small velcro straps attached to the cable, so you won't have to search for ties when it comes time to coil it up. I didn't have a particular project in mind when I bought the telescope, so the only things I've found so far are cobwebs and dust bunnies. I'm sure I'll eventually put it to practical use and order more for a couple of people on my Christmas list.

I'm also a maintenance technician at a large apartment building with commercial tenants. I've drilled holes in ceilings to see if there was a leaky pipe and used it to get into tight spots I can't stick my head in. It saves me so much time!

bought this knowing I would be using it soon and today it happened. The fan in our old car started making a lot of noise and it was driving us crazy. I found the fan housing but it would have been a real pain to remove. Then all of a sudden it occurred to me that I should try this to see what was going on. I inserted the telescope into the housing and found that a mouse had made a nest inside. The image quality was really good. There is no way to guess what was in there and it was very well lit, with the light on the end of the telescope. Now I can clean the housing without taking everything apart. All of that is only possible because I could see in there with this telescope. It was very easy to use, I turned it on and it immediately showed an image. I see that there are options to record and take pictures with an SD card installed. I could see it being very useful in certain industries but for us average homeowners it will work just fine just by turning it on and off.

Ready to use, no connections, no setup, no apps, just press the power button. It has a wonderful bright display and the cord is firm enough to bend into a position so I can turn a corner. It arrived fully charged and within seconds I was looking at the vent doors inside my vehicle. The controls are intuitive and the features are useful. The camera quality is much better than expected. I would love an auto rotate feature as the camera is not always oriented the way it should be, but so far so good… I am very happy with it.

It works great for what I needed it for. I used it to check the coolant in a cylinder as you can see in the picture I took. I wasn't sure because the engine only had 70,000 miles on it, but it confirmed the head gasket and saved me the headache of not being sure. Worth every penny.

What an invaluable tool when you need to see in areas that are not accessible to the naked eye! I was trying to reinstall a sensor in my truck whose connection was hidden behind the engine. Not only could I see the connection perfectly, but I used the scope to take pictures!

It turned out to be a lot better than I thought it would be. I got it mainly because we have a lot of clogs in our outdoor drain pipes. We got it to dig up and replace part of the pipe where the clog is, especially if there is a break in the pipe. This will help us really narrow down where the clog is and see what is going on there. I was really happy with the ease of use of this endoscope camera. It is very easy to operate, you don't need to follow any instructions, you pretty much just turn it on and go. Where it really shines is in the image quality. I can see very clearly exactly what is going on. I am happy I got it.
