needed to find the part number for the pump buried in the engine bay. I managed to get in, get the number and order the replacement part without having to take it all apart. Saved me a lot of hassle by not having to do the job twice. I don't know why I didn't buy one sooner. I imagine it would come in handy for all sorts of jobs.

I purchased this product to check the interior panels of a Jeep I was planning on purchasing. It worked great and I was able to see enough pictures of the interior to tell if the panels were completely damaged or intact. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and it was a good investment when purchasing an older Jeep. I can also see myself using it on many other projects around the house.

The first time I replaced it I did it "blind" by feel because you can't see the sensor right behind the intake manifold and fuel lines, etc. It was an 8.1L engine. It was hard to find and remove the old part and even harder to put the new part back in. Then I replaced it with a 6.0L engine. Even for a smaller engine it was a lot tighter. I have relatively large hands and it was hard to reach the sensor with my hand or forearm on the 8.1L engine. The sensor on the 6.0L engine was tighter so I ordered this tool. Now I hope I got this scope before I replaced the sensor on the 8.1L engine. It allowed me to see exactly where the sensor was, see the locking clip on the wiring connector, loosen it slightly, and then insert the connector into the sensor to remove it. Then with the scope, screwing in the new sensor became much easier and I was able to see exactly where the connector was to line it up. The LED light on the end of the camera is nice and bright and has multiple brightness levels in case it was too reflective from objects in the room at full power. Battery life also seems to be very good, I had it on for about an hour with the LED light on full power and the battery still showed 100%. This scope is much better than the one I was using before. The longer cable allows you to set the screen in a stable position so you can see it easily, and then point the camera where you need it without having to reposition the screen. Even in bright midday sunlight, the screen is bright enough for me to see it in the shade of the open lens hood. I made one small change based on previous experience with other telescopes: I took a touch up pen and painted a white stripe on the camera body to indicate the "top" of the lens. This made it easier to point the camera in the direction I wanted, which is shown in the third photo. I like this telescope much better than the one I bought a few years ago. The screen is bigger and nicer with this tool, and the longer cable makes it easier to use without having to reposition the screen, it is much more comfortable to use. Given that I was able to replace the 6.0L sensor much faster than the 8.1L sensor, this tool easily paid for itself in terms of reduced hassle and significantly reduced the time it took to replace the sensors. It probably saved me over an hour of work despite the smaller footprint and wider angle required to access the sensor. I would absolutely recommend this tool to anyone. I think it is second to none, especially at this price point. In fact, I would say this tool is a "must have" for anyone who works on cars or does any other repairs because you can't get past the frustrating angle of what you are repairing, you really can't live without it. It is very easy to use and anyone with a little bit of repair knowledge should be able to learn how to use it without reading the instructions. That being said, I did check the instructions after my first use of this scope and found them to be very well written.

It is not waterproof and broke almost immediately. I got my money back. I am very satisfied.

came across this endoscope and was shocked by all the obviously fake reviews. So I decided to buy it and give it a try and ended up giving it a one star review to make up for it. Well, it was disappointing indeed. It's not great. It's obviously not a high end device, but it's good enough for me. The high refresh rate of the screen surprised me because I expected the image to stutter constantly. But it didn't. Also, the so called line stabilization is real. At least it was stable enough for me. The white balance isn't great, but that's what you expect from a cheap device. If I had bought it, I would have preferred it to have a side camera as well. But that's not why I bought it, you'll remember, I bought it to show a scam. In the end, I got a perfectly usable tool and there's really nothing to complain about. This is over the top. I could at least deduct one star because I paid to inflate the review. It's rude. Don't do it.

This endoscope called a video endoscope in aviation allows me to inspect truck hoods and windshield wipers. It works great. The mobile endoscope is a little difficult to use, but it works great. The view is very clear. It comes with a hook, a magnet, and a mirror. One thing to note is that this endoscope is very long. I am used to much shorter endoscopes. In fact, I used it many years ago to inspect the inside of a DHC 6 wing strut and the length was perfect.

have wanted one of these cameras for a few years, mainly so I could see inside walls before installing large computer equipment. I recently renovated my basement. I ran the wires for recessed lighting and bathroom plumbing up to the ceiling before I started installing drywall. Although I measured and wrote down where the wires were, I must have made a mistake. I needed a way to see through the ceiling before I could drill holes. This camera is perfect for that. This camera has a long, strong, flexible cable that allows you to get into tight spaces. I highly recommend against using these cameras for colonoscopies.

It's amazing to have this kind of technology at this price. The materials and workmanship are very good. It makes inspecting and repairing a car engine much easier. The screen and camera are of excellent quality. For this price I expected much less.

The clutch cable was loose. After my son and I followed the documented removal process, we could not find where the clutch cable terminated on the pedal. An inspection mirror was completely unable to find the end. My son and I used needle nose pliers with a camera to find the end. Without the camera, we would have been trying to find the end anyway. He did a great job and it was very easy to use a handheld monitor while we tried to disconnect the cable. It made a big difference and made for a quick and hassle free repair. As an added bonus, he checked the various engine components under the car with the camera while I watched the monitor and assessed the condition and adjustments.

There is another gauge that connects to a smartphone. I like that this gauge has its own screen. My only issue is that the 45 degree mirror does not go through the spark plug hole on the engine to check the valve seats.

It was too loose to maneuver over rough terrain, curves, and turns. However, I was able to attach it to a fishing pole and maneuver it with no problem. The image quality was excellent and it was easy to focus and control. In fact, with the 16 foot cable, my turtle chased it and came out of his burrow from a distance of 14 feet. I used this camera in my bathroom because the drain was clogged and I needed to take a closer look at why. I was able to get the camera in deep enough to find the problem it has nice Camaro quality and a nice screen.

This means I no longer have to call a plumber to find out why my drain is clogged and not draining. With a little wire drain cleaner, baking soda, and vinegar, everything is back to normal. The screws are not heavy, but clear enough to see what you have. Overall, I am glad I bought these.

It saves me time and effort when I'm fixing a car, and it's more effective than an inspection mirror when you can't see the nuts, bolts, and plugs on the car and have to touch them. Or when you drop a gasket on a turbine oil line and need to know if it fell into the turbine or somewhere safe outside the engine. This is a good product for the price. I found that it doesn't work well in tight spaces like walls. The LED light is too dim. But it works well in firewalls and high ambient temperatures. I had problems at first because I could barely see the screen off axis. My battery never gave me much power and now I need to replace it. Is there a part number?

I purchased this product to fix my car as the pushrod had come off the knuckle after going through the rocker arm. The lens allowed me to pass the camera through the oil line in the cylinder head and see the area under the intake. I was able to remove the piston and put it back on the valve without removing the intake. The picture quality is excellent, especially the lighting. The camera cable was easily adjusted to place the camera where I needed it.

The first time I tried it, it also found a hole behind one of my teeth: But seriously, this is an essential tool that you probably didn't know you needed until you got it! I hope I had bought one sooner!

This little thing is very accurate, but it has one small problem: it can get a little blurry in slightly humid conditions.

I received this product as a gift. It can take a little patience to get the lens right, but the visibility is excellent. I use it to check for leaks under my fridge. Since it is waterproof, it is very versatile. It would be nice if it could take screenshots, but for the price, it is a great device.

didn't expect to be so in love with an endoscope. This device is amazing. The image quality is excellent, the depth of field is excellent, everything from 1 inch to infinity is clearly visible, and the screen is clear. The screen is nice and bright, and the image is sharp in all but the brightest areas under direct sunlight. Additionally, the device feels very solid in the hand. I feel like I could lend it to a colleague without worrying too much about it being dirty. It's also in very good condition, which I didn't know was possible. It's easy to hold the screen in one hand and use the camera in the other. There are no brands on the device, so I suspect this device could be sold to another company, put their brand on it, and sell it for three or four times the price listed here. Buy it while it's still cheap.

Great for checking drains and locating auto parts. I have used it to check shower drains and also to find bolts under a truck that needed to be removed. Great pictures, great lighting and a great price!

purchased this product to find door codes for a Ford vehicle I own. The codes are located under the dash. I was very impressed with the ease of use and clear picture quality. The screen is very handy and does not require a phone to connect. I didn't realize how useful this tool would be and have been looking for projects to use it on. I will probably purchase another one so I have one in my car and one at home. The only feature I would like to see is auto positioning where the camera can project up, down, left and right on the screen which is perhaps a feature I have yet to discover. This will definitely stay in my tool kit forever.

Use it to find problems behind drywall. Normally you have to remove large pieces of drywall to find problems in ducts. With this camera we only have to remove a small piece to find the problem. This saves us time and money. It is also used to find problems in air handling systems.

If you need to capture a large area with your camera, this is great. For example, if you are fishing on a wall and the wall is fiberglass, this is not a good idea. Anything close will blur the image and you won't be able to see what's there. Use macro mode if possible. You also need to have lights and be able to dim them, but not too much. You can get 100%, 80%, and 60%, but it doesn't seem to vary much. I think it's better to have a lower number.

We didn't know we were missing something like this in our lives! We threw nails and coins in the vent and it helped! There is a mirror, magnets, and hooks that all attach to the camera as well as the light. The picture quality is great and you can turn the light on and off with the controller. It's not a huge screen, which is great because it doesn't take up too much space in your toolbox. I know it's not a toy, but my kids love looking under the bed too!

My dad and I had to take apart one of his old Fords and this scope worked great. It has a nice big screen and is easy to use. I prefer it to the ones you attach to your phone. It allowed us to see exactly what was happening in front of the truck. I would recommend it to my friends.

I bought this product to see what was scratching the gable vent on the side of my house. I was able to stick my upper body out the window under the gable vent and insert a stick with a telescope on the end into the slats of the gable vent. I was able to clearly see a bat inside. I'm sure I'll find other uses for this, but for the price you can't go wrong and I'm glad I bought it.

It doesn't come with a case or monitor stand and due to its length it's not convenient to hold the monitor with one hand and move the camera with the other. After using it I wouldn't buy it again.

was looking for something similar for car maintenance and repair in the workshop. Overall the quality is very good, the buttons are very easy to press and the functions are simple. The image from the camera is very clear and bright and the content is displayed on the screen. I never thought about buying one before but now I did, did I mention thank God for the Type C port?

This endoscope fixed a strange problem for a fraction of the price I would have paid a professional. I was pretty sure the duct connecting my air conditioner to my bedroom had been clogged in some way since we bought the house over the summer. I tried everything I could to find the clog and finally decided to spend a few bucks to see if there was anything down there. By pushing the endoscope about six feet into the duct, securing it with an electrician's tie to keep the endoscope wires from twisting, I found the culprit. I pulled the endoscope out and attached the hook to it. I pushed it in, grabbed a plastic bag with a shirt in it, and pulled it out. It saved my day and then some! A tin man must have had a lot of fun. I wonder what his life would be like if this little prank was part of his behavior pattern.

The length of this lens is perfect for getting into hard to reach places and allows for easy cable routing so you can see exactly what's going on inside the walls. The old house I worked on had drywall and wood paneling, and it took some skill to get the cables into the house. The camera itself is very durable.

It has its own rechargeable battery. The images really look like they are coming from a more expensive device. It comes with magnets, hooks and mirrors to hold objects with the camera end. It can display in black and white and color. The light intensity is adjustable. It also has multiple zoom levels. This is a very handy device to have ready to use.

Easy to use and the camera and screen are worth it. The pictures were taken with my phone screen so the quality you see is not as good as the real thing. With this camera I was able to remove a nut that had fallen off my engine air intake. I love this tool.

used this to find a dead mouse in my car. I searched the dashboard, headliner, engine compartment, and back of the car. I found nothing, but the camera worked fine. Note: the repair shop found the mouse under the hybrid battery, which I had not touched. I also use it to find lost items under furniture with minimal ground clearance.

got it used. The person who got it before me didn't even put it back in the box. The box was half open and taped shut when I got it, and there were nasty fingerprints all over the screen. I want to return it, but I need it and it works, so there's no reason to return it. I just hope someone will at least clean it before sending it to me as "new".

This is a very cheap endoscope camera. I use it to power my new Romex ceiling light. Very handy. What is really great about this camera is that you can remove the inspection camera for storage and maybe buy a smaller cable for other uses.

I use it to check for clogged drains. It is too short to see where the clog is. It is not your fault if it is not designed for its intended use.

After inserting a small socket and screwdriver bit into a 6 inch vent in the bathroom floor, I decided to test out my new purchase. The device allowed me to see all of the construction debris at the bottom of the pit. However, I couldn't see the two tools. There was no way to adjust the focus of the camera, although there were two settings. The image was often blurry. Controlling the camera was nearly impossible. The slightly bent cable made it difficult to point the camera in the desired direction. There are a couple of accessories that can be attached to the camera. One is a magnet and the other is a hook. In both cases, the glare obscures part of the image when the camera light is on. These can be placed behind the camera, but they don't do much. After hooking the camera to the vacuum hose and turning on the vacuum, I was able to remove both items along with most of the debris.

Although this scope was purchased to see inside engines, it is also used in many other hard to see places.
