It works well, but since the light is not very strong, you have to get quite close to see it, maybe only a few inches. The image is pretty good.

The only downside is the instruction manual, but once you learn how to use the little dial to adjust the light it is fine.

ordered this camera so I could see under our RV without having to remove the corrugated sheeting. I needed to check a few faucets to make sure there were no leaks. This camera works great with my phone. I was able to maneuver it through a few heater vents and see what I needed to see. Luckily, we have no leaks and I can rest easy. The light is bright enough to use for a project like this, and while I haven't used some of the accessories yet, I'm sure they'll come in handy when I need them. The camera quality is better than my camera app and it's easy to use.

Warning, my phone could not detect the endoscope. After several failed attempts, I tried with an old phone and everything worked fine. I think the problem was that I was trying to connect a "dongle" adapter to my phone. You have to connect the endoscope directly to your device, without an adapter.

I hope the camera tips were a little shorter. I had trouble getting them through the 90 1 ID PVC. Other than that, this scope is perfect.

bought this to replace one I bought for my husband in 2019 that broke. Here is his review: Pros: Wired so no lag and no issues with wifi or usb etc. LED settings with customizable brightness and rotation control not just on or off like others. Decent camera resolution. User friendly app with recording and export functions for videos and photos. Various accessories, magnets, corner mirrors on the hook end of the camera. Cons: Hard to angle the cable on long drives and corners. You have to angle or bend it just right to see the target area perfectly. Low temperature hose protector does not allow for use in hot areas like engine bays unless you wait for the area to cool down. Overall a camera worth the money.

This is a great product and very reasonably priced. I use it every day to check intake pipes and inside cylinders but it is also great for checking blue tit boxes and running new wiring into the house. What does the tape stick to? Just slide the semi rigid wire along the scope and you can see for yourself. I find new uses for it every day. I should have bought one of these a long time ago.

The semi rigid cable makes it easier to get under something without going too far. The light is comfortable and quite bright, considering you're probably trying to light up a dark, narrow space.

Wow! I just used this to check for leaks in my shower drain. It's brilliant. I drilled a small hole next to the shower tray and put it there. I opted for the dual lens version which means there are cameras on both ends and the side. It's worth it because both cameras have flashes so you can put it in the hole to see what's there and then switch the camera lens and look from the side to check the integrity of the pipe etc. Love it, everything worked great and it exceeded expectations!

thought this would replace an old telescope I already had, but it didn't. Buried in a wall, the light wasn't bright enough to orient or find cables. With a little extra ambient light, it works fine and the image is pretty good. But in total darkness, the light isn't enough. Not a big deal.

This was all well and good, but the lighting was not strong enough to see into larger empty spaces like sumps, large enclosed walls and hallways.

I bought this device to use when I was fixing my car. At the time I bought it and tried to use it, I bought a new phone. Since phones use USB C and this endoscope has a USB port, I couldn't use it. Luckily, my friend had an old phone. We used his phone and the device worked fine.

It allowed me to explore small spaces, however, the connection to my phone was not great. The app keeps asking me to reconnect the camera because the connection is lost. App crashes are less frequent, but not uncommon. If you don't have connectivity issues, this feature is worth using. The photo shows the inside of the walls of my house. I use it to explore drains and look for rodent entry points. I even saw a mouse's nose with my camera! Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of it.

First, it said it was not for indoor use, so the first thing I did, of course, was put it in my mouth see photo 2. I then used it for its intended purpose, which was to decode some wires in my front door frame that control an electronic door opener. The oscilloscope worked fine and immediately confirmed the malfunction I suspected. Also, I found these weird yellow bubbles on the door. Eggs? photo 1. This is gross! It took me a second to figure out how to activate the second camera by long pressing the button, but this camera/system works great and I am very impressed considering the price. I will be recommending it to my allergist.

This camera is perfect for my little investigation work on water leaks behind walls. It has high resolution and is easy to use.

When I bought this camera I realized I needed a phone to use it. I was disappointed and didn't use this product. However, I didn't return it because we needed it. I recently found out I could use it with sanitary pads, which I did, and it was amazing how great this product is.

The picture is much clearer than more expensive models with their own screen. The hose is very versatile and the magnetic mount is excellent.

It worked as expected and gave us the information we needed to inspect the wall cavity. For our application, we wanted it to be a little more robust. We considered using a piece of heavy duty Romex wire as a flexible stick to get into those hard to reach places and break through loose insulation. I'm sure it will come in handy for other projects in the future.

Easy installation and excellent image quality!

purchased this device to "figure out" how to run new irrigation cable through the wall of my house. I tried a regular reel and could hear it crack but couldn't see or reach it due to my limited access. I purchased this telescope the same day and raised and lowered it the next morning. I felt it hit the ground and from my vantage point on the deck it looked like it was buried in worn insulation. I lifted it a few inches hoping the light would make it visible and it did! However, I was able to attach a very light pull cord and carefully pull it. I then lowered the reel with the cable and within 25 minutes I had the cable in the outdoor box. Excellent quality in 25 minutes. I would purchase again but after using it for such a short time I am not sure about its durability and life span.

My wife's ring fell into the truck seat rail. I needed a small device with a light to help find the ring. The app downloaded to my phone with no problems. I connected the viewer to my phone and was able to find and retrieve the ring right away. The video image quality on the phone was excellent. I was able to run the camera cable through the truck seat rail with no problems. I hooked the ring onto the hook and pulled it out. I highly recommend this tool. You never know when you might need an endoscope to find a loose brush head in your dryer vent. I purchased this long, flexible endoscope that goes deep into the vent and has enough light to see through the phone app. It has phone and smartphone connectivity for easy viewing and recording of photos and videos, which is very important. Pros: Long, flexible cord, lighting, responsive camera/app. Suggestions: 1. The LED light could be improved as it is hard to see in the dark interior of the dryer vent. 2. The little extension cord with magnet/hook is not strong enough. You could probably get around this with a small keychain with a key or two, but I didn't need it. I had to purchase a separate drain cleaning cord with pliers to get the brush head out. Overall, I am very happy with this product and it solved my problem.

The app is very simple and launches immediately after plugging in the camera. I'm very happy with the app's performance. Only once did I fail to take a picture, but that problem was fixed when I plugged it back in. The camera itself seems well made. The cable is stiff enough to hold its shape after being molded. I've sprayed it with engine oil, soot, a little fuel, and various solvents. A quick wipe with a rag helps. Very happy with the price. The lights on the top of the camera are useful. They're just bright enough to illuminate the image from a few inches away to help you orient yourself or find what you're looking for.

I have to admit I was skeptical about the quality because of the price. I bought this camera to repair an engine and needed to be able to see the top of the piston. The cable on this camera is semi rigid and flexible so you can easily place it where you need it. Its small size fits in the spark plug holes without getting stuck. I have since used it on 2 engines and even a basement drain. Great little camera!

want to use it to check for cracks under foundations etc. My biggest surprise was that it only works with a phone. I saw this in the product description but I thought it would work with a phone as well, and there was no clear indication that I had to connect it to a phone. I would return this device and buy a compatible device if possible. Other than that it works great. I borrowed my friend's phone and it seems fine. It might be more useful than I thought. Some parts of my body are hard to see or even take a picture of, and this device helped me a lot. For Apple users I highly recommend it. I gave it four stars just for its connectivity. By the way I recorded a video but I can't see it. It disappeared somewhere.

For the price I was expecting it to be similar to an early 2000's digital camera with a resolution of around 240×180, but I'm happy to say it's much better. I'm not sure of the actual resolution or specs, but for the price it's better than expected. My only complaint is that I hope it had special packaging or something different than the box it came in.

needed a borescope to check for leaks in my float tube. It works great. It sets up easily and I can take snapshots of what I see to check later. The borescope is easy to align and rotate as needed. I like the controls and it is easy to adjust the light and take snapshots. Great value for the money!

use it with my phone 12 and it comes with a USB C to Lightning adapter. It is very easy to use, just plug it into the phone. The light is very bright and the picture is very clear. Excellent value for money, highly recommended.

like the quality, it fits 1 1/2" hoses and works well in the water. You can easily connect your phone and watch videos. I couldn't get it to work because it required two 90 degree turns, but for simpler routes it works well.

I purchased the Dual Lens Endoscope Camera with Illumination, HD 1920P model. The first photo shows mineral deposits in the faucet, the second photo shows mineral deposits in the kitchen sink drain, and the third photo shows mineral deposits in the radiator hose. The printed or downloaded instructions do not seem to explain how to switch between the front and side cameras, so I was unable to test the side camera.

The product is as described, the price is good, very good!

bought this probe to diagnose several problems in my home. For example, to drill a hole in the drywall of an outdoor closet to see if the wall is well insulated since it gets very cold in the winter. I also used it to find out what was causing a clogged downspout. It can be used for several things. The app allows you to take and save pictures or videos. I am very happy with this device.

The product works as expected. The lightning cable adapter is unstable, so sometimes you have to unplug and plug it back in. This helped me diagnose some drainage issues. The image quality isn't great, but it's good enough to see what's in front of you. The product is good value for money, but the range is limited if you want to rotate it. I would buy it again for my needs.

This is a very well designed device. Once the app is downloaded, simply plug the camera into your phone's USB port. A cell phone adapter is included. Also included is an adapter to attach a hook, magnet, or mirror to the end of the probe. The product comes with well written printed instructions. I used this product to check the location of the support beams on my kitchen's drywall ceiling before removing the wall.

You get what you pay for. For me it works great but the quality is a bit average especially when you're on the go. If you plan on using it daily you'll find it better but for small projects around the house I recommend it.

This is a real money saver! And you get a great product for what you get. If you buy a product with a screen in this price range, the screen will be terrible and the picture quality is not great. If you have a good phone with a good screen, you can get amazing HD results with it. I easily found a coolant leak that was hard to see above the engine bay. I was able to slide the camera in from underneath and see exactly where the leak was coming from. You can zoom in, take pictures, or record video with the camera. Best of all, you can change the brightness settings while you inspect. My engine camera is thin enough to fit into the opening and see all the carbon buildup. The mirror mount allows me to see if there is carbon blocking the opening. The magnetic mount saves me a lot of trouble. I dropped a 10mm socket in a gap and had to remove the motor to get it out, but it was a life saver. Also, a couple of small metal discs fell into a gap that nothing else would fit in, which was another life saver. My friend left his keys in the car with the sunroof slightly open. I took the keys and attached them, no problem. This tool is very useful.

The scope works well. It requires an app to use it, but the app is simple and easy to use. The 90 degree adjustment is virtually useless due to poor build quality and materials. It is not properly aligned, so only about 2/3 of the viewing area is used and it is difficult to keep clean. The inline controls are a useful feature. For my purposes, which are checking the inside of the engine, the cables are too long and awkward. I am not complaining, it is just something to keep in mind.
