bought this model with the built in display because the only complaints in the reviews were the inability to connect to a phone and the quality of the phone app. This control module is well designed and easy to use. But I bought it because I changed the cabin air filter and then noticed the A/C was very loud. The dealer charged me 200 to inspect it. I found a leaf that had fallen into the fan and pulled it out in about 10 minutes. My only hope was that there was a spike to poke things with. That would make it easier to get the leaf out.

The camera is very clear. Well made and good value for money. I would recommend it to anyone. I bought it to check air conditioners, heat exchangers and household appliances.

This is very handy for seeing into tight spaces. I use it to look behind the dashboard of my compact MGB. It makes it easy to check the wiring harness for problems, look directly at the vent pipes to make sure they are connected correctly, etc. Another advantage of this device is that you can quickly take a video or snapshot to use later or share your findings with others. At this price, this scope is hard to beat.

Right out of the box, assembly was simple and it was ready to go. The cable wasn't as stiff as I feared, so running it through the 90 degree connector on a 4 inch cast iron drain pipe worked fine. The video quality was adequate for inspection purposes. I liked the aperture options and the main lens had good reach. Also, the ability to wash in the sink was a novelty. Some may complain about the inability to record video or photos, or that it doesn't come with a USB charger. I think these extra features are misplaced, as they are mainly there to increase the price of the product. I would definitely buy another one.

I thought the drain was clogged and tried running the drain cleaning system through the trap but it didn't work. I then used it to check the gaps in the interior walls before cutting the drywall to avoid pipes and wires and was very pleased with its performance. It starts up quickly and is ready to use in seconds. To keep it from getting tangled in drawers, I put it in an airtight bag.

I used this to find a hole in the steering wheel of my BMW. I had to swing it from the front of the car without help. I slid the camera under the car, placed it in the hole and found it with no problem. It is stable enough to stay in place, the image is clear and I recommend it.

This purchase was the last time I had to clean up kids toys that fell down the bathtub drain. It would have involved ripping out the subfloor, removing the pipes and replacing them. It took me 2 hours with that big camera and those long claws, but it was worth it!

It's not the easiest to see things or move around walls, but it gets the job done. Cons: The image quality isn't the best, especially when moving the lens. The screen doesn't look great from an angle, and it wasn't easy to aim it at me while working on cables. The controls aren't very intuitive when switching between side, front, and split screen views. There's no way to change the angle or do anything other than rotate the cables. Pros: Since it's a standalone unit, you don't need to plug it into a power source, so it's very convenient to use. Just turn the unit on and you're good to go. All the controls are touch sensitive, so I can use them while wearing work gloves. I can reliably access recordings on my computer. Relatively easy to clean.

Good product, the flex cable isn't as stiff as I thought it would be which is good. It comes with a 32g SD card which is good. However for 70 I would expect it to come with some sort of case as bending it is difficult and needs to be perfect or it won't fit properly.

The image is nice, but it would be better to have a ball on the front of the camera so it doesn't get stuck in the side walls. Overall, it's great for checking small vents and drains.

We purchased this bait to monitor drains or wall cavities in our pest control office when needed. The first time we tried it in the field, we found our critter in the wall. A small critter had gotten into the customer's house and dragged food into a hole he had dug behind the stove. We chose the rat as bait because it gave us evidence. It turned out to be a small groundhog that we could monitor closely. We have since upgraded and removed the live trap. I imagine we will be using it on many projects in the future! We took pictures and showed them to the customer and he was very surprised!

used this in conjunction with a flexible skimmer to remove anything that was clogging the suction line of our inground pool. It takes a little getting used to if you are not used to it, but it really helped identify problem areas in our inground pool. The length varies depending on the size and I used the longest one. As with all other filters, it is hard to see very bright areas, especially in the sun, so I waited until it was cloudy to see the filter. It is easy to use and works great. Great value for money.

This is the perfect device. It is inexpensive, has a good field of view and the cable is the right length. If you need a simple inspection camera, this is it. Even the camera itself is not too big, so it is very flexible.

I am a cable technician and sometimes need to see through a wall to find a cable or stud. Since I only need this tool occasionally, I keep it in my work vehicle and use it for months. The battery has never died when I have needed it. It gives a good image and a good focus range. The cable is stiff enough for most applications, but I sometimes tape it to a light bar to make it straighter and reach higher up the wall.

I've had the black and white model for a while now, and it's pretty limited. I bought this model as a gift during a flash sale, and I felt a little guilty because I already had a model that could take black and white photos. This is literally on another level. The photos come out great, the colors, the brightness, the length of the device. The recording feature is also very useful, I didn't have this feature before. I'm very satisfied!

already have a drain detector, but I need more. My goal is to upgrade the wiring in my home to allow more "wired" devices to access the network instead of "wireless". This will allow me to see inside walls, bypassing electrical wires and even water and gas lines. I would buy it again.

It works pretty well, but the controls are a bit confusing.

Transferring images and videos from the endoscope to the computer is a bit tricky because there is no direct connection between the devices. I solved this problem by purchasing an adapter that allows you to put the small TF card from the endoscope into a larger card, which you can then plug directly into the computer port. I understand that this process is much easier on newer models. Otherwise, it provides high quality images and videos.

This is a cheap but very useful tool. If you plan on using it daily, you may want to consider purchasing a more expensive professional endoscope. However, for the average home user, it works great, is very affordable, and is of excellent quality.

It comes with a camera and some accessories like a hook that comes in handy if you drop your keys in the sink. It hasn't happened to me yet, but maybe you know someone who has, haha. The camera resolution is okay, not great and definitely not HD, but enough for basic functionality.

For the price, it works great. I needed a smaller scope to inspect drains because my larger scope couldn't handle the bends. I was able to attach this scope to the drain cleaning snake with a cable tie and it worked great, although it did go through the murky water and come out the other side!

It works as expected, but the 16 inch coil is very stiff and difficult to use on the long dryer drain path. It works well on drains, but gets stuck on 90 degree bends. It is great for finding dropped items in hard to reach places like washers, dryers, stoves, cabinets, and behind heavy furniture.

The camera and screen give very sharp images. The photo taking function is a plus. I am very satisfied with this product.

This scope is great value for money. I always use it when I go to work. Its dual lenses and compact size are its strong points. I use it mainly to inspect engines. If you can get in through the spark plug hole you can see a lot of potential problems. It is a great tool for a mechanic. bought this product about 2 years ago and the camera cable broke. I bent the cable to a certain point and the screen went back to normal. I contacted customer service via email and they did a great job. Not only did they send me a new one, they didn't bother sending me the old one back. I am very happy with their customer service.

This endoscope provides excellent images and its flexible camera/cable can be inserted into very tight spaces without opening up surrounding structures. I was able to find a leak in a water pipe in the wall by moving the camera between two heating ducts and through the floor. The leaky faucet was in complete darkness. However, the light from the camera made it very visible.

The screen is bigger and clearer than a phone's. The depth of field autofocus is limited but acceptable. The cable is very stiff, which is helpful. I had to drill a hole in the ceiling of my apartment and it worked great.

found this telescope to be of good quality and pleasant to use, but it is not very manoeuvrable and the cable is very stiff and not very flexible. The image gets blurry when moving, but it is not an expensive high end device, so it is good value for money. Overall it works well, you just need something that can be placed in a corner, which is impossible.

The LED and dual camera angles are excellent. The image quality and image and video control functions are excellent. It would be nice if the focus could be accurate to within 1 inch. It would be nice if the tube was more flexible. It does not fit the 90 degree angle of a 2 inch PVC pipe.

It is easy to use once you understand all the features. The picture quality is not as good as it could be, but still works very well. The further you extend it from where you are looking, the harder it is to control the end. The side camera is very useful. Now you don't have to try to get the camera straight, just switch to the side camera, try to rotate the cable and you can get a clear view of what is going on around you. It does what I wanted.

If you are looking for a high resolution camera this is not the camera for you but for the price it is not bad. I use this camera to check for coolant leaks in the engine cylinders. This camera is perfect for me. It is useful in many different applications.

My husband used this to lubricate the right spot on his old tractor. It wasn't visible. I could also clearly see the slightly rusted part and where it was hanging. The pictures are also very clear!!!

The problem with viewing angles is that if you tilt the screen a few degrees, it's hard to see what you're seeing. It's hard to use the screen with one hand and the camera with the other. It's also hard to see what some of the buttons do. For example, you have to hold one of the camera buttons for a few seconds to switch from camera A to camera B. Overall, I'm still happy with my purchase and use it regularly, but there's still room for improvement.

The unit offers a lot of features that wouldn't be possible otherwise. I haven't used it for long distance surveys yet, so I don't know if the cable stiffness is optimal, but I suspect it is. The cable is firmly connected to the display, which makes storage a bit awkward, but this may be to ensure the connection remains stable and waterproof during use. As others have mentioned, it would be nice if the display housing had a tripod connection. This could be compensated for with a block of wood, a 1/4 20 nut, and some industrial velcro, which puts less stress on the plastic housing than using a fixed tripod.

The only downside is that I have to use it to drain the water. It's hard to turn it 90 degrees and use it straight. As long as you don't have to turn it too far, it's fine. Overall, it does what it's supposed to do. The picture is clear. I have to charge it first before I can turn it on.

First, the pros. This camera is very capable, has a long battery life, and takes good pictures. The ability to change the lighting is also a plus. We use it to find plumbing problems in our 1950s house. The only downside is that it is rigid, so it is difficult to use on plumbing, which is why I gave it 4 stars. actually bought this just for work… but it works great! It takes clear pictures, even in dark places. I had to look through a cylinder in my car and got great pictures. Very useful. I also use it to find tools I've lost behind and under things and to get a better idea of where hidden screws are in my car. I bought it because it has a screen and works by itself, without the need for a phone. I've bought things that only work with a phone to take pictures and got tired of them. You use it a few years later and find out there's no app or it's not supported. I guess I can keep it in a drawer until I need it again and it will still work when I really need it. I'm not someone who uses it every day, but for me it's valuable and I'm sure it will come in handy in the future.

We were putting things away in the house and had to see some areas from odd angles, so we couldn't bend our arms or use a mirror. This allowed us to see pipes, drains, and wiring areas behind drywall. We could see where everything was without having to guess. It helped a lot.

This device is very simple to use, just make sure it is charged. Just clamp the cable and turn the device on and it will show you what the camera sees. This is a very useful tool that every DIYer should have. I like that it has its own screen, unlike other models that use a smartphone, and that the telescope cord is long enough. I only spent a short time playing with the telescope on some walls and cabinets, but overall I was impressed with its quality.

The images it takes are very clear and the ability to save and transfer images or videos to a computer is excellent. The only concern could be that the quality degrades over time, but for the price, it is a small risk worth taking.

Good product for the price. The probe is flexible but well shaped. The screen provides a good view with adequate resolution and clarity. My suggestion for improvement would be to add at least one level of dimming for the LED lighting to reduce glare from reflective surfaces. The clip connection is not very stable, so don't force it.

I have used it for a while, good product. Video quality is poor in good light. Video quality is ok in the dark. Cables start to short if you bend the camera a lot. Not bad for the price.

Check the gutters on the back porch without a ladder and I checked several places where I would have had to unscrew the panel otherwise. It works great. And since it's waterproof, you can see if your spouse's ring is stuck in the trap.

I'm trying to find a scope that doesn't require an app or phone, because the privacy policies of these vendors if you can find and read them are outrageous. All the other options I've found, like this one, are much more expensive, while this one is reasonably priced. Well, I can't complain, I've used it to check cylinder walls, pistons, fuel tanks, etc. and it works great. It even comes with a memory card, so you don't need to buy anything else to use it.

It wouldn't be a good day if I used this tool. Still, it served its purpose. It would be nice if the camera had a wider dynamic range and depth of field, so you could see things further away from the lens better and not be blinded by bright objects closer to the lens. Still, the image quality is noticeably sharper than those no name cameras that just plug into a USB port, and the built in screen is much easier to use when it's working than plugging in a separate camera for your phone or tablet.

The image quality of this unit is very good compared to my previous unit. I use it to inspect cylinder walls and pistons on small engines ranging from lawn mowers to ATVs. I like that it has longer bores if needed.

I bought this unit to check the cylinders of my boat engine. It works great! The picture is clear and the light is bright. The second 90 degree camera is a must to see areas the front camera can't see.

Easy to use and always ready to go. I place the camera in the drain with a flexible cable and I can see the clogged drain. I can clean it with a vacuum cleaner and rinse the dirt with water. It is worth the investment.

The product was not fit for purpose as it didn't fit through the valve cover so I tried putting it in the spark plug hole to test it. I was hoping the image quality would be a little better, it seemed to show the cracks in the cylinder wall that scared me the most but the focus seemed a little off and the camera was too long to really get into the cylinder properly so if in doubt I'll give it 4 stars for image quality. The photos would probably be better if I zoomed in on the camera. Videos would probably be more useful than stills in this regard. However I can see this device being very useful in many applications and the image quality is excellent. The design is nice, the lighting is good, the screen is a good size and the rechargeable battery is an added bonus. The dual front and side cameras are a huge plus! I think it would be better if they could shorten the camera layout if possible, which would help with getting around tight corners/angles. This would allow me to see the cylinder wall better rather than taking a picture through the spark plug hole. Also, the back of the camera assembly is at a 90 degree angle to the wires, which I think is a design flaw. This seems like a recipe for disaster: you could easily insert it into a tight spot to inspect it, only to get stuck and not be able to get the probe out! It needs to be at a 45% angle or less, and that possibility is pretty much eliminated. Imagine getting stuck with it and having to disassemble the entire top of the engine to get it out! Still, this seems like a great product with a lot of potential and would be a great addition to almost any toolbox. A handy protective case would also be a nice bonus in this regard.

Right out of the box the screen is very good quality and doesn't feel cheap in the hand. I'll do an update soon.

The device works perfectly, it has a built in screen and a few accessories. The resolution is not great but for what it is designed for it is sufficient. One thing I would change if I could: make the camera cable a little more rigid, it tends to get stuck and bend when you don't want it to.

This is a very good endoscope, especially considering its price. The image and video resolution are excellent, up to 1080p, and you can record both on the included 32GB TF micro SD card. The endoscope neck is very flexible, sturdy, and the camera resolution is very good. It is a very good device for observing hard to reach places, such as: inspecting a car engine cylinder through a spark plug connector, looking into a drain pipe, etc. It comes with a few accessories: a mirror to observe objects at a 45 degree angle to the camera lens and a magnet to pick up screws or other metal objects. This is a device that every homeowner should have.

The effect is superb, the image and the glasses are sharp. I switched from color to black and white. I didn't use any accessories.

I checked some cylinders and some body parts inside perfectly. I recommend it.

bought this for a job checking sealed openings in vehicle undercarriages. It worked very well. I look forward to using it again in the future.

am a long arm quilter and I use it to "peek under the quilt frame to see what the bottom seam looks like". This way I don't have to lie on the floor. It would be nice if the camera had a slightly wider lens! This is what you should be selling at quilt shows!

Very good quality, everything is as in the pictures. A must have tool in your toolbox.

Functionality and performance are as described. I was unable to make another bend in the iron pipe floor drain. The cable was not stiff enough to penetrate deep into the corroded pipe. There was too much friction. The quality of the front and side lenses is very good, and the clarity is as expected with water blocks and sediment in the water. The image is significantly better than my previous Mikwaukee handheld inspection camera, and the long cable allows for a more thorough inspection unless otherwise specified. The recording function is excellent. Very good product. Very handy size.

The image of this endoscope is very clear compared to other endoscopes. I chose this one and can recommend it.

I hope the cable was a little stiffer. At distances greater than 1.5 meters, the cable tends to bend, making it difficult to see at distances greater than 1.5 meters.

Just flip the switch and you're ready to go. The camera and cable are about 12 feet long. I'm not a big fan of the handlebar, but it does the job.

I have been using it for several years and it works without any problems and the screen quality is excellent.

Pros: Easy to use. Bright light. Clear image. Reasonably priced. Cons: Difficult to turn. Most toilets, tubs, and sinks have some sort of T shaped edge that is difficult to get around. It's a bit frustrating and tedious.

I used it to repair my car. Reasonably priced compared to common competitors in the automotive tool industry.

The refresh rate is way too slow, but it's still worth having in my toolbox.

The included help guide has a URL for a better manual, but is it the same as the one they provide? It's not very helpful, so it will definitely take some trial and error. But more than taking pretty pictures, I prefer to use it to see what's on a wall or in a crack, etc. And it seems to work pretty well. Oh, except my cat decided to chew on the end of the tube… No, no, kitten. We didn't get a picture of his teeth and open mouth fast enough… too bad. But we say no, no, no, kitten. The picture is decent, usable, and beautiful, but barely 1080p. The cable is not detachable, making it difficult to watch videos or photos unless you use the large cable winder. The lighting is bright, and the viewing angles are terrible.
