The only downside I noticed was that once the tires were inflated the connector got so hot it caused second degree burns where it came in contact with the unit. There is a rubber boot to insulate from the heat but it fits into the short hose which I found the hard way so make sure you put the boot clamp back on before unscrewing it. I also hope the valve stem connector was a metal stem instead of a plastic stem, as I don't know how long that would last. Overall, I'm still very happy with it.

bought this to take on a boat. It is not waterproof so I had to buy another model.

Back to the tire pressure, it works great and quickly. I inflated the tire and the compressor battery went from 100 to 76 so I'm not sure the battery would run out that fast.

have a cheap little compressor that I bought from Harbor Freight. I have been using it to inflate the tires and nose gear on my small plane for 2 years now. When I need to inflate the nose gear it takes about 7 12 minutes with this old compressor. So I was skeptical because this compressor is battery powered and the compressor I have plugged into the cigarette lighter barely works because it takes 125 psi to open the prop valve and then inflate the prop to 40 psi. So I plugged it in, turned it on and when I leaned over to see where the gas bottle was and how long I would have to wait there it was full. I have not used the starter generator yet but the air compressor is no joke.
