like that it has the adding feature to add up multiple distances. It's so nice not to have to ask someone to hold the tape measure for you. A must have if you have a measuring cord. I bought this to replace one that cost 5 times as much and I can't tell the difference

You need a tool that a tape measure wouldn't work for. This definitely worked for that, even when you angle it the way you need to angle your ladder to get a job done. Saves time!

This laser measuring tool is accurate and easy to read, especially when taking measurements indoors. I took off a star because when measuring outdoors I can't see the laser dot. I haven't tried this tool outdoors during darkness, but I suspect it would work much better after the sun has set. I'm thinning a tree patch and have to cut down about a dozen trees that are about 50 feet tall. I was hoping I could take a measurement to determine the height of the tree and then another measurement looking out from the base of the tree to make sure it won't crush anything when it falls. Maybe I'm using the wrong tool for the wrong job, but I thought it would be worth mentioning that the laser is not visible in direct sunlight. Other than that, it's a great measuring device.

got the tool to measure my door frame to make some blinds. It's a good product, very easy to get started with, but sometimes it's not easy to keep the numbers. Especially if you hold the meter up high and your hand will block the screen from reading. All I do is keep clicking the button, but sometimes I lose the position. I wish it would auto hold after 3 seconds without changing, so it would be easy to read.

Very easy to use, just turn it on and that's it, you can change to the metric measurement system.

love how easy it is to read the measurements and that switching between units is very easy. The only negative I can find is that you have to press the trigger button twice to get a measurement. The problem is that having to press the button twice when you have it up against the wall can cause the laser to move.

The basic setup is easy to use, the red line is easy to see and just the right size.

This measuring tool is perfect for most applications. It doesn't require much learning as it has all the basic functions and doesn't have a lot of stuff you don't need. The light is very bright and the unit has a large enough surface to set it on the wall you're measuring from to keep it stable. It works best in an indoor environment, like most of these guys. The screen size is good and it fits in your back pocket.

I haven't been able to use it as much as I thought I would like using all the different features but so far it's been easy to use. I'll update when I'm able to use it to measure a room or an entire house.

wish this little thing could reach 1/32 scale. That's my only complaint. Other than that, it's a perfect product. Cheap, accurate, and small.

I need exact measurements for a window project. This took me a few minutes and worked perfectly. Amal, simple and intuitive. I don't need the advanced angle and area measurement functionality so I won't go into that.

In the case of Latin America, where the metric system is predominant, there is no problem with its use because it includes that measurement system. The box it comes in is very difficult to open to the point that I had to look for videos to see how to open it without damaging it. It comes without a case. For now, I am satisfied with the product.

When you're looking for a tape measure, you're looking for accuracy. This one is incredibly accurate, has great battery life, a very easy to read display, is small enough to fit in your pocket, remembers previous measurements and locks in the value. That's it!

I use it to measure distances and it is excellent at doing so.

I'm an architect and this was a game changer for me. It helps me take measurements pretty quickly and for the price it's a really good laser.

I purchased this device so I could get some basic room dimensions while I was visiting real estate. It was easy enough to calculate the conversion from meters to feet, but the numbers were difficult to read in low light. Overall, it's great for quick calculations of general dimensions and room sizes.

Difficult to use and very delicate in its readings.

It works great, but there is no off button. I'm afraid that when I put it in my bag, I'll press the button and the laser/screen will turn on, which will drain the battery. I know they sell a carrying case separately, but I'm not sure if it would protect the sensitive button and I bought it because it's small…the case would make it bulky. It's still better than using a tape measure, so we'll see how that goes!

This is a high quality, compact laser measuring tool. I have used it both outdoors and indoors. It is great for getting a general idea of the size of projects and for making detailed measurements. I have it on my tool as my go to reference tool!

This laser measure works like a charm! The only thing that took me a while to get used to was the Pythagorean measurement, as it's hard to get a good consistent measurement from a wall that doesn't have any eaves or overhangs for the laser to make contact with, but that's not the problem with the product at all. It's very handy, easy to use and understand.

It was just what I expected

You no longer need to use a tape measure to measure the size of your blinds. It's also great for measuring rooms. I don't know how to verify this, but it seems very accurate. It's worth the money.

The supplied unit works well and gives accurate results, however one of the bubble tubes to check the level of the unit was empty there was no liquid and therefore no bubbles. Other than that very pleased with the purchase.

This little device works incredibly well. As a layman and with an oddly shaped room I'm trying to get accurate measurements in, this device has done what I couldn't do on my own. To put that into context, the room is 14 feet high, 25 feet long, and has odd angles, but none of those are a problem for this little guy. I especially like how easy it is to toggle between measuring from the back of the device or from the beginning of the laser.

It seemed to work fine, although I ended up returning it. The main problem I had was that in continuous mode it kept giving me error 15. The guide suggested that this was an overload and that I should contact the supplier. I read another review where someone got a replacement and it did the same thing. So I tried a different brand and it did something similar, but the paperwork said it meant it was related to a bad signal, which makes sense that sometimes you don't get a good signal. Once you get it you have to reset it, where the replacement shows this temporarily and then continues measuring. So if I had known what the error meant I might have been happy with this one.

My boss showed me his and I had to run out and buy one. It's accurate and does a great job. I'm an old fashioned person and it's hard to get used to using something new. I haven't used it much and it seems a little flimsy, but it's holding up well.

For the price, I wasn't expecting this digital tape measure to be so accurate, and better yet, so easy to use, with no learning curve required. This tape measure exceeded my expectations right out of the box. I had to take several critical measurements for a home project I'm working on, so I used both a traditional tape measure and this one, and to my delight, the difference was less than 1/32. It may not be accurate enough for trim work, but it's more than capable for everything else.

This model is very similar to the Bosch one we use at work. It's accurate, easy to use, easy to change settings, and so far, it seems pretty sturdy. For 23, you can't go wrong. I would buy it again, and hopefully not for a while.

It allows for quick and easy large measurements and allows for accurate limited measurements. For our new kitchen, we quickly measured the room and counter space. Once installed, we accurately measured the interior or drawers for the inserts.

This product is amazing. Great quality. I was on the fence. Everything inside me was telling me to go with the Bosch brand, but I decided to buy this product and I'm glad I did. This product is extremely accurate and for the price, you can't beat it.

The claimed accuracy is not consistent.

When hanging crown molding, I needed to get an idea of the length of the pieces. It gives a fairly accurate reading, but you have to cut the pieces a little too long and trim them. Also, if your walls are a little wavy, you have to look at where the stud rests it can give you wrong readings. Otherwise, it's a useful tool.

It works exactly as advertised. Professionals may need a little more, but the average homeowner or real estate agent should be happy with this tool.

picked this device up so I could measure the distance to targets, it works pretty well… I can spot a 10" disc target at its max distance of about 168 feet. Since I'm setting it up for a BB gun, that distance is fine. If I were to replace this one, I'd buy the 100m version. However, it has to be pretty dark or it's not easy to use outdoors. This meter is pretty easy to use and reads consistently. It stores readings and can calculate areas and heights. The build quality is very good for 20, but it doesn't come with any kind of case or bag. That's no good for me because I carry it in a tool bag. Overall, this device works well. It's well built and looks great too. I just wish it came with something to protect it…

really useful measuring tool! The accuracy seems excellent. However, proper use requires a bit of interpretation and experimentation. There is no user manual provided. There are a few suggestions for its use printed in almost microscopic text on the box, along with a small photo showing it on a windowsill, which I assume is supposed to let you know that it measures from the back surface of the device. There is also a small illustration on the front of the device showing a forward facing arrow originating from the back surface. I read one review that said all measurements are off by 4", which is the length of the device, so that person missed the clues. There is also no set of specifications such as maximum and minimum operating temperatures. I like the device, but it really needs a user manual!

I'd buy it for my subcontractors and I don't think they'd laugh at me for not being yellow…

like this little gadget. It makes measuring long distances very easy. I have gone back to using a tape measure on several occasions before trusting it. It was always accurate. My only issue is that the display is only readable by looking straight at it. If you lay it on the ground and crouch down, you can't read the display unless you lay your head down next to it. You can press the button to save the number and stop measuring, but at a long distance where you are trying to shoot a tight spot, pressing the button can move it too much and throw you off target. Overall, I think it's a great tool and if you learn how to work the display, you won't have any problems.

This is a standalone laser distance meter with a lot of features and a lot of built in calculations for area, height, etc. It's not bad for the price and a Bluetooth/app based solution would cost you a lot more. I think the 328 foot range is unlikely, and since this isn't going to work outdoors in bright sunlight/ambient light, there are very few conditions where you're likely to be able to measure that distance anyway unless you have a convention center or stadium or something. I tested at dusk to see how far I could go and the best I got was 189 feet. I'm not sure how accurate it was at that distance, but according to Google it was at least within a few feet. I was surprised that there were times where I could see the spot but the meter still glitched out. It seemed to give a different code every time, so I didn't bother finding out what they were. The one time it did give me a reading at a spot 250 275 feet or so away, it said it was 43 feet! For most people this will be fine anyway, and is presumably a bit brighter/better than the one they sell which is only 165 feet, but you can save yourself about ten bucks with that one. I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't identical and were just selected for performance.

Easy to use, accurate, and affordable. You can't ask for much more from a laser meter. It's nice that it has two levels. The backlight is bright and makes measuring in low light conditions easy. With plenty of modes and calculations, it's a powerful device that fits in your pocket. It's been a staple in my AV production kit for a while now.

I haven't figured out all the buttons and features yet, but it does what I need. I can take measurements and keep a running list of the measurements I've taken, which makes it very easy to do material calculations for construction jobs. It seems to be accurate to within 1/16" up to a distance of 20', which is plenty for me.

Easy to use for quick measurements. The bubble level is a nice option. It does consume a lot of battery because of the laser and backlight, so have an extra set if you have a lot to measure. I wish it came with a carrying case, so I ended up buying one elsewhere.

Compared to my previous laser meter, this one is very small and lightweight 4.5 x 2 x 1 inches. It looks like a toy, but once you start using it, it's a powerful tool. What you'll find in the box: The laser meter Alkaline batteries Strap Manual The meter has a large backlit LCD screen that displays the last four measurements. It has a lot of options and you need to read the manual if you want to use them all. It works a little differently than my old one because it takes measurements. You have to press a button twice, first to turn on the laser and second to take the measurement. It seemed intuitive at first, but it makes sense because I see not guess what measurement I'm taking. I compare the accuracy to my standard tape measure and they are exactly the same. What's also important is that if you take multiple measurements in the same position, they are exactly the same which is why I think I can trust this device. The laser meter has two small bubble levels. They are fairly accurate, but they are very slow to position.

I saw one in use by a real estate agent a couple of decades ago and finally got one of my own. It's great for taking quick measurements on the fly and for planning furniture management.

It does exactly what it was designed to do… I use it to measure deflections on beams and bridges after load testing… I think it works as well or better than the Bosch product…

The accuracy is slightly lower and it can only be used indoors I sometimes also use it outdoors in low light conditions with a slight decrease in accuracy. However, both limitations were clearly stated in the description. However, this model is better than others I have used and if 2mm accuracy is not required, the speed of measurement when doing the job has its own benefits.

A must have for any DIYer. It's easy to use and works well so far. While it's probably not precise enough for molding work, it's the perfect tool for everything else.

I was able to put the batteries in, turn it on, and figure out how to use it without having to read the manual. That wasn't the case with two others that I had to return. It's very easy to change modes with a single button. If I need to learn other things, I'll read the manual. The unit also feels solid. I bought it.
